Scout Klondike derby, good weather, great fun
Great big maintained grass field with parking lot, bathrooms, fire pit and flag pole. Great trail back to a fishing pond and if you keep going a very cool waterfall on the pumpkins fork which flows into the little blue! I think you have to reserve this place though. The gates are always locked but that doesn't mean you cant walk in.
Camped here with my scout troop, we had a lot of fun, the trails are really nice and there's a ton of open space!
Normally the place great. This time grass was not mowed. There was a drafter living there. The bathrooms were not usable. Overall if this was my first time to start there I would not.
Very nice camp area flat with shade and water. Secluded so we weren't bothered or bothering anyone else.
Great time with the Scouts Klondike Derby! Loved the trails and especially the river valley
Best place to camp, I have been there as a boy and now share it with my kids.
