Great little place we just recently moved over to. Lots of improvements happening. Can't wait to go back

This campsite is perfect for families with little ones. It’s a peaceful spot close to home, with beautiful views, birds along the shore, and colorful sunsets. A hidden gem with waterfront camping and the convenience of nearby shopping centers in case you forget anything.

Management at Weekend Paradise is extremely unprofessional and unsafe. They openly speak poorly about residents to other residents, sharing personal and private information that should never be disclosed. They will divulge information about current residents to anyone who calls, regardless of whether that person has any right to that information. Illegal activity is ignored and covered up by management. If someone dislikes you and feeds management false information, it is taken as fact. You are then issued a 30-day eviction with no explanation. When you ask why, management claims they are "not at liberty to discuss it with you," yet they have no problem discussing your personal business with a stalker who calls the office asking questions about you. This created an extremely unsafe situation for me and my family. The behavior from management is childish and aggressive. Screaming matches with residents are common, followed by management gossiping about those residents to others in the park. We should never know who is being evicted or taken to court unless the resident chooses to share that themselves. On top of all of this, the constant sewage smell, overwhelming flies, and overall discomfort make this place unbearable to live in. This park lacks professionalism, safety, privacy, and basic human decency. I do not recommend Weekend Paradise to anyone.

We chanced upon this place when looking for a convenient lakeside camping site. Being it our first time ever going to this town, we were so glad we did! The reviews are true about Wade being very hospitable and accommodating. The people staying there were equally friendly and helpful as well. One of his long-term campers, Mike, even makes coffee for everyone in the mornings! Just amazing. About the location. The price is very affordable with working bathroom and showers. It is literally by the lake so if you have kids, they'll love swimming there. The place is a bit dusty with lots of cars driving in and out so best be prepared for this. The boats can also be very loud during the day. We were told that it is indeed a Hot Rod place. So, if these would bother you, well, better stay elsewhere. If not, and you like a family-like, safe atmosphere, you should stay here.

We went there for a weekend. Wade was so welcoming and helpful! He really cares about his guests and that you are comfortable and happy. The facilities were perfect. Love the clubhouse! I can’t wait to go back.

I am compelled to leave this review due to serious and ongoing management failures at Weekend Paradise. Management has demonstrated a pattern of favoritism and has engaged in unprofessional conduct by sharing personal and allegedly false information about residents with other residents, creating a hostile and unsafe living environment. My family was evicted without any clear or lawful explanation being provided to us. As a direct result of the mishandling of this eviction process, my family is now homeless. The lack of transparency and failure to follow proper procedures raises significant concerns regarding compliance with California tenant protection laws. Additionally, the property is frequently overwhelmed by persistent sewer odors, indicating potential sanitation and habitability violations. There is also regular activity consistent with drug use and trafficking on the premises, which management appears unable or unwilling to adequately address. Prospective tenants should exercise extreme caution. The conditions, management practices, and apparent disregard for resident well-being make this property unsuitable for safe or lawful housing.

Wade I will NEVER forget you and the hospitality me and my little one were shown when we were there. We will definitely be back. An earlier review warned that they may not be friendly to all people and I wish they responded to that review, maybe they didn't feel as though they had to. I came across a huge mix of people and everyone seemed to love Wade and Penny! I know everyone may have a different experienced wherever they may go though, me and my little one had an adventure here I won't soon forget. This place has all the basics you need to make a night camping by the lake and just a day chilling by the water enjoyable 💖
