Bear Creek Lake

Wonderful park- so many great trails and well maintained. The staff is very friendly! There’s a trail race series in September that I highly recommend- explore the park and meet a nice community.

Love this park! The lakes, camping areas, and easy walk into Morrison make this an amazing place to visit or camp. Trails are great for biking or hiking. Enjoy!

They wouldn't let my family into Pelican Point at Bear Creek Lake park because Soda lake was at capacity. Ruined our day. I counted just 12 cars at the Pelican Point parking lot. Ridiculous. See photos! There was plenty of room at several other areas in this huge park. But because Soda Lake was stuffed to the gills with people, the rest of us who wanted to enjoy other areas of the park got screwed!!!! Whatever It was smelly, muddy, and gross along the shoreline at Pelican Point from past flooding and the toilet was closed. So happy to leave it anyway. Tsh

I've been coming here since I was little. Really really really hope it NEVER changes!! It has some solid fishing with no wake if you're on kayak. Tons of things to do here from trails to water stuff. I've made tons of memories here and plan to keep making more as long as people respect it and don't ruin what it is. Summer and Holidays can get a bit crazy, but overall, it's a great local spot.

New favorite park! I can't believe there are beavers here! Incredible scenery, good atmosphere for a peaceful walk. Lots of wildlife! We saw frogs, beaver, muskrat, giant fish, all kinds of birds, absolutely beautiful! Can't wait to go again! Also, was there early Saturday morning, and it wasn't crowded at all!!
