Cactus Patch Campground

Awesome campsite are maintained, clean, well kept. The hosts are lovely and kind people who have firewood for sale. You’re not necessarily out in the middle of nowhere but it’s really quiet which I can appreciate. I had been driving for hours and was in need of a campsite before it got dark. The sites each have their own covered area with picnic tables and plants/trees, some shade and privacy with the vegetation. The site also had a fire ring and concrete slab. You have a couple choices within the loops depending on whether you have an RV or are tent camping: Greasewood or Cactus Patch and I believe there is one more loop but for RVs only.

After spending a week at the pristine Rockhound State Park campground, I had high hopes. But they were deflated. My site was in Cholla loop and 5 sites are crammed together. The ice house pretending to be a shower/bathroom is freezing. Low water pressure and no hot water at the wash sinks led me to think the showers were the same. So I didn't use the showers. The other sites on Cactus Patch looked less cramped. It was an okay place to camp; sheltered picnic tables, water, electric, but I won't return.

This camp ground is one of the nicest setups I've seen for a state park. Flat concrete pads for the RV to sit on and covered picnic tables. Water and electric hookups, with a dump station and a clean shower house. There's isn't a bad view either. No obstructions make for beautiful sunsets and sunrise. Price is good too. I will definitely be using this facility again when in the area.

This is a campground within Leasburg Dam State Park. You must have a reservation to stay here. It is beautiful here, but you are still out in nature, so come prepared.

Very nice. Concrete parking pads. Covered picnic tables. Showers. Great host!. Nice views. Very quiet except for the occasional train which didn't bother us at all since everything else was perfect!

Not bad. Don't expect to see a lake, a river, or water of any kind. However, each site has a level concrete pad, covered picnic table, water, 30 amp electric and a dumping station when you leave, all for $14. I would stay here again.
