Camp J. C. Stimson

This camp is amazing to stay at. While the tents and cabins are super basic, it's nice having toilets, sinks, and showers to stay clean. The kitchen facilities are great so you can have real meals. When available, the rock wall and zipline are tons of fun for the kids. The best part is the temperature during the summer as it is a beautiful escape from the Las Vegas heat.

I went here for camp 30+ years ago. The amazing renovations that have occurred are mind blowing. Went from raking thr ground before setting up your own tent to these canvas tents on slabs. They even had cots to sleep off the ground on! The cooking Pavillion was a big shock compared to cooking all our meals as we learned how to make a campfire.

Very beautiful place with an incredible array of amenities. It was very cold and windy overnight, but was a great outdoor experience.

I had an amazing time at Camp J.C. Stimson! The campfires were great for warming up when I was cold, and the activities like axe throwing, gaga ball, and archery were fantastic. The food was delicious, and I loved hanging out with friends and making new ones. Highly recommend!

Beautiful relaxing place to take your family and enjoy the great outdoors.

Such an incredible place to camp. Went with our church youth group. The facilities are incredible and the people are so kind and helpful.
