Desert Eagle RV Park on Nellis AFB

A well-liked military fam-camp with hundreds of full hookup RV sites, clean bathrooms, laundry, dog parks and friendly staff. Guests appreciate easy check-in, level sites and close access to base amenities and Las Vegas attractions. It’s quiet on weeknights but aircraft and road noise can happen, and access is for eligible DoD cardholders only.

We stayed at Desert Eagle for 2 weeks. We reserved the premium spot for $27 a day. It was a back in spot with ample space between RVs. The newer section looks like a parking lot. There’s bathrooms and a laundry room in between. This campground is for military and affiliates only 100% ID check at gate. Located next to base hospital. There’s only a gas station on that side.

Excellent park. Clean, quiet, well kept, wonderful staff and majority of the veterans who stay there are friendly and hospitable. Great amenities such as bathrooms, showers, laundry facilities, hiking trails and dog parks. Great value for RV'ers.

Excellent RV park for military families or retirees. Pull thru and back in sites, tent sites, and clean, well maintained facilities. Very dog friendly with multiple dog parks.

Troy was extremely helpful and kind. The park is beautiful and very well kept. It’s clean and quiet and conveniently located close to amenities. I feel at home. Outstanding!!!

We had a great time here. We have a Dutchmen Kodiak. We spent the night, ($25/ night) - a great stay cation for us, who live about 30 min away. We enjoyed the quiet, low key stay. Staff was very attentive. Easy check in and check out. All hook ups were smooth. no issues. looking forward to staying again for another un-plugged date night(s)!

Sites are assigned once you arrive and check in. I was assigned a site for three nights. Next morning, told me to move to another location because it was assigned to someone else. Won’t be back-ever.
