Great place to camp while visiting Las Vegas. Clean campground friendly staff. Associated with Samstown which has a free shuttle to Harry’s or the Fremont experience.

I’ve stayed at some sketchy RV parks but this one next to Sam’s Town defies logic. We were placed in the "north" park, concertina wire on top of 8’ fence, incredibly tight entry gate, BUT if yo come in from Nellis street wide entry and NO gate. Older park, not made for big rigs. Lots of older towables in various states of dilapidation. Best part is the use of pea gravel and sand to park on. This stuff tracks all over, is unstable to walk on on is literally spread all over the paver patio and all the streets. For $100 a night I was expecting a little more. The neighborhood is not one I feel safe walking to the casino after dark. Full disclosure, we stayed in the South Park 7 years ago, was nicer then.

My husband recently got located in Vegas for work and we decided to stay at the KOA. Pricing for long term stay is reasonable, electric included at a flat rate for specific trailer sites which is great. The only down fall is the long term stay location isn’t in a good area of town. A ton of homeless population, and to mention, there is no gate at the front entrance to keep out unwanted visitors. Last night, my husbands electric scooter was stolen from our campsite in the middle of the night, so theft is happening while residents are asleep, so be aware of leaving personal belongings out, which we learned our lesson. But overall, the spots are clean, the employees are nice and helpful, just over all be careful of your surroundings.

Overall good experience. They allow dogs and hook ups all worked great. Also a nice fenced in space for dogs to run off leash. Internet is absolutely terrible though, and "nothing they can do about it." The workers are quirky but happy to help. Met some friendly fellow travelers there too. Their set up is a bit different with having two locations. You have to go to the main office at Sam’s town casino to check in and pay even if you’re staying at their Nellis location. Both locations are about 15 minutes from either the strip or Fremont street. 4 stars due to the bathroom and laundry. It’s a regular camp bathroom so don’t expect much. Only the middle shower worked in the men’s restroom. The other two either had no head or seemed only connected to the hot water. Hot water tank ran out fast. they do clean every day though. Lastly the washers and dryers take quarters only ($1.75 per wash/dry) and there is no coin exchange machine at the Nellis location but the front desk can exchange for you.

Well I'm mixed. It's huge. It's at Sam's Town Casino. It offers the usual features. No outdoor sink. I've grown fond of my KOA outside sinks, so it was missed. The bathroom shower experience was not good for me. Zero hot water. It was great for my husband. I had to wait forever for the hot water to turn on. Then it ran out minutes later. The lady at the front desk got a tad snarky when she saw our conversion pop-up camper. The maintenance guy that guided us in was RUDE. We were left alone. The neighbors were nice. We loved the short walk to the Casino. When I had to play roulette with the soap dispensers to find the one that works, I notified the front desk and they did address it. One out of 5 anyway. We appreciated the stay. Would shop around next time. 350 bucks for four nights. PS, our pop-up is adorable.

We stayed here for a month in January/February and had a great stay. We had a good spot right by pool and laundry. Full hookups, no issues with them. Spot was level and easy to park and set up (rock/gravel pads). The north end of the park is NOT fully gated, it has on entrance that is gated and one that is not. But the rest of the park is fenced. It is in the city so expect street traffic and air traffic sounds throughout the day and night (I don't mind this, but I know others really do.) 4 separate fenced dog runs. Clean and heated pool with hottub. Clean laundry and bathroom facilities (showers were warmish by us, but did not get hot enough to my liking so I always used the shower in our 5th wheel). There are 2 separate shower/bathroom buildings in the north end of the park, I never checked the 2nd one further away from our site. Very easy, very short walk over to Sam's Town where there is gambling and dining, and a movie theatre and bowling alley as well over there. We would book here again if we end up back in Vegas someday.
