Nellis Meadows Park

Debilitated park, homeless living under the shelter by the bathrooms, graffiti on the playground equipment… we just moved here and didn’t realize how bad this park is. It doesn’t feel safe to be here. Very sad.

Too many homeless walking and/or sleeping in this park. I saw some people walking their dogs! It does looks like they are working eight in the middle of the park! Very close to nellis Air Force! Plenty of parking!

We are visiting Las Vegas and staying at the Hitchin Post RV park. We wanted a place to get some exercise and walk our dog Nugget. This park is close to us and large enough to get a good walk in. There are baseball fields here as well as a BMX track. There is also a soccer field and walking/jogging paths. The park is in reasonable condition but could a little TLC.. It is right next to Nellis Airforce base and gets noisy when planes are landing so if you looking for a place that is quiet and calm it might not be for you but we like it.

It's a nice park and playground area for small children, my almost 3 year old grandson loves going there. The only drawback is the homeless men that gather in groups to sleep or hang out with each other . There is also a dirt track for motorcycles and bike events next door - my grandson loves looking at it from the top of the hill through the chain link fence.

There's everything here shade trees clean bathrooms plenty of places to just lay down on the grass picnic 🧺 watch people playing with their dogs training them

The park is beautiful and kept very clean . Good for a picnic or outing with the kids. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the loud noises and activity from some of the surrounding businesses pretty much and company kept there but the park overall itself was great.
