Nash Holcomb

A beautiful green space for the public adjacent to a relatively nice biodiverse section of the LA River, the Glendale Narrows, excellent place for birdwatching. Be sure to be respectful on the bike path and stay off to one side to allow bicyclists to pass without a hassle

I've been coming to this park ever since it opened a few years ago. It's always super clean and very quiet. Never any big crowds. There is a skate park right next door, there are two vehicle charging stations in the parking lot, and I believe you can rent it out for events.

It's very nice for walking or riding your bike along the LA River. There are a couple of good cafes and coffee shops along the route. You'll see lots of people, lots of pets, and various waterfowl like herons and ducks. Clean and friendly area. Bring some mosquito repellent. Overall, it's a hidden gem in LA!

saw some cool birds for my bird blog, at the river next to this park. Had a roller safety lesson at the skate park in this park. used a nice restroom here, had water from the nice fountain next to the restroom here. There are a lot of exercise apparatus out here which I did not actually use today. A lot of song sparrows in the trees which I was unable to photograph because I couldn't see them. Also, I am charging my car for free here at the Park parking lot

Nice walking (or biking) path along the LA river. A couple of good cafes/coffee shops along the route. Always lots of people & pets to watch as well as all the water fowl--herons, cranes, ducks, etc

COYOTE ALERT - Do not walk small dogs unleashed near any Los Angeles park or natural area, especially around sundown to sunup. Do not leave small pets or children unattended for one second. Coyotes have been spotted recently, corresponding to several lost small dogs around Elysian Park, Debs Park, Highland Park, Marsh Park, CSULB, L.A. River and other open natural areas. Coyotes can lure and kill small dogs silently and stealthily. Enjoy the park with your leashed pet!
