Camping on the Gulf

We rented a space here for a week. The location is awesome. The RV spaces are extremely tight / close together. Bathrooms were decently clean. Heated pool and hot tub is nice in the cooler months. Not much area for dogs and laundry was a pain as the dryers didn’t work well. Besides those minor things, this park has a ton of activities and we loved being steps away from the beach!

Our stay was defined by a life-changing encounter with the resident Bubble Pirate. I have never in my life seen bubbles of that scale; he is a true champion of his craft. Beyond the 'how-did-he-do-that' spectacle, his presence was incredibly captivating. My kids were spellbound, and the impact he had on them in just two hours was profound. If you visit, pray the Pirate is there. Five stars isn't enough.

Camping on the gulf is one of the few if only,that you are on the beach. You can even get a spot on the beach and all other spots are a short distance(100 steps from my spot) it could use a little maintenance but being on the beach makes up for it. The spots are gravel and pretty close to your neighbor. They have a lot of sites, from up top with lots of trees, by the lake or stay in cabin or stay up close by the beach. There is 2 pools, one closer to the beach with a water slide. They have laundry and bathhouses. They also have 2 camp stores, very limited though. There is also food trucks, and ice machine. Would recommend if wanting to stay on beach.

My family camped here back in October & we loved it. There is plenty to do to keep the kids & adults occupied all week. The whole campground was very clean. The restrooms & showers were very nice and clean. We have already booked a week for next year & can't wait to go back!

We just spent four night at Camping on the Gulf in mid-November and we loved it. We stayed in site 800 (on the beach). The beach sites are very tight, but well worth it. You don't have to carry all of your stuff down to the beach because you are already on it. The beach sites may not be for you, if you don't like sand everywhere, or you want more room around your rig. This is now one of our favorite RV parks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to coming back again next year.

We stayed in the Beach House and I fell in love with the place. The camp is amazing and quaint. Adored it! Heated pool, gift shops, the people, and the beach! You really can’t beat it! So much better than a condo. They have glamping tents and tiny houses also. I’ve lived here 21 years, always wanted to go! Finally had friends come in for a girls trip and I can’t say enough good things about this! It stays pretty full, so plan ahead

We spent 8 nights we could have stayed all season if we could have. We had a spot right by the basketball court. Kids were playing every night until about 10. Did not bother us but if you are a need quiet person after 8 pick a different spot. We could sit and look at the ocean from our spot. Everything was close by and easily accessible. Some say we will go back for a couple months.
