Destin RV Beach Resort

We spent several days at Destin RV Park and absolutely loved it! Safe, clean and cute park. We truly appreciated the digital communication and were texted all needed gate codes and site info before arrival! No paperwork, no check in lines and we had everything we needed on that text when we came in/out of the park. It is gated and felt very safe and was a 5 min walk to their beautiful beach. It is truly a gem place to stay ❤️

We stayed at a wonderful site (#13). The trees and shrubs around the site made it super private. Not only was the RV pad paved, but the terrace area with the table were also concrete and shaded. I had my coffee each morning at the table in front of the camper, and felt like had the place to myself. The site held my 40 foot travel trailer and my huge suburban comfortably. It was a 30 second walk to the pool and laundry and restrooms. The restrooms were as clean and welcoming as the ones in my own house. The office was being renovated while we were there, so I didn’t get a chance to buy any postcards, as is my wont. But I’m sure it will be nice when it’s finished. The beach was a short, five minute walk for the RV park. There was a nice safe crosswalk across the street and access to the beach via a private gate. The gate seemed kind of temperamental with the code, but it might have just been user error. We will definitely stay again!

We have stayed here a few times over the years. Now that it's under new management it's like night and day. Trees have been removed opening up the road plus this resort is the most beautiful one around. They now have golf carts on site which was very convenient I have to say the kindness & attention during our stay was exceptional. The new management team is really great. We received a call the morning of our arrival just to check on us and wish us a safe trip. The beach is always amazing & like no other. We already can't wait to come back in July. It is small with only 36 sites but it's the parking that is tight, not the actual park or sites. I read other reviews & I think that is not conveyed properly. FYI they now will help you park as long as they are available or I'm sure you tell them u need help ahead of time.

My goodness....what a wonderful stay. The RV park is right across from the beach. We rented a golf cart which was amazing. We could drive up the main drag which has restaurants, shopping and more beaches. We loved this place so much, we booked another stay before we left! The resort is exceptionally clean, quiet and on the smaller side. I highly recommend this park for anyone traveling through or just wants an amazing beach rv park. A+++

We loved this RVpark. Walk to th beach in maybe 5-10 minutes. Combination locks keep non-guests out both at the beach and the gorgeous heated pool. The white sand beaches here are like no other. We are from New England so these were a treat. The weather this year was not swim friendly until well into February. There are beautiful heated bathrooms. I liked the local hangout right near the beach. Good seafood and adult beverages. Still very kid friendly.

I stayed in an RV- this Rv park is a 2 minute walk to the most beautiful beach! It eliminates driving to the beach- finding parking. If you are looking for a nicely kept, peaceful, quiet Rv park walking distance to a grocery store many restaurants, a few shops and a beach that will take your breath away Stay here I highly recommend it!

I have never in my life encountered a more rude person. The woman who is in charge is awful. Don’t waste a dime if your hard earned money on this place. No instructions, no guidance,no directions to the beach access. We were there long before they closed yet had to go to her Rv and knock on her door to find out what site we were on. The website says you need an arm band for beach so we went back to her trailer where we were summarily dismissed as idiots for asking about the arm band. She then disappeared for the weekend which was just fine because we were not going to interact with this miserable human being any way!!!!! Do yourself a favor…. Skip this place and warn all of your friends to do the same. I would have given zero stars were it an option!
