KOA won’t do anything except charge you. Dogs chewed 5 year old mattress. Charged replacement cost $270 for a 5 inch mattress, and treated extremely rudely when I tidied up my cabin and admitted to damage. Would not go back with dogs or alone. Point of staying there was dog friendly advertising.Office doesn’t want to be bothered with issues- hey I also don’t want to have to deal with it while I’m vacationing. The shuttle isn’t KOA specific. It goes to other hotels/ campgrounds. Neighbors dog off leash, dog food stolen, texts by staff while you are sightseeing, space heater in cabin, kids next door loud and walked into my cabin with dogs, charge for coffee, ice and office unopened until 8. The threatened to call cops, insulted me, while I kept a calm demeanor. Manager is never there. They are ok with adding charges and communicating with manager for they but otherwise not helpful with issues. If a kid walked into your cabin risking being bit by dog shouldn’t management do something immediately or speak to you? Kids were loud. I know they are kids. I didn’t complain sbout noise, but coming on my porch when I have dogs( even if I don’t) is wrong. Everything good was overshadowed by horrible customer communication. Policies are vague about dogs, damage, etc. I followed all provided rules and told office of disturbing events and what my dog damaged.
Stayed here 2 nights at a great patio site. You won't be disappointed! When we checked in, we were almost out of propane, so we got a fill before going to our site. Great staff and service. Lots of things going on at this KOA. Many different sites to choose from. We biked on the many trails nearby. We plan on spending more time in Nashville in the future....and it will include more days at this KOA! Thanks for a great stay.
We had the best time at this KOA. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra day. The area is perfect for exploring Opryland and the mall. Great entertainment in the main lodge most nights and the grounds were very well kept even after the ice storm. The showers were clean and water was hot. TRULY A kOA HOLIDAY!!! We will be back again, Nashville!!!

I really recommend this campground if you are staying in nashville even if you dont have a camper, they have amazing cabins that have bunks and a bed as well as a kitchen and dining.i would come here again! 😀 my dad and I did paintings of snowman mine is tje left one and my dad's is the right one! I love this place offering activities throughout the weekend and live singing!
We had a great experience with this resort even starting before we arrived. It was my girlfriend and I’s first Thanksgiving together, and we were not sure where we were going to have dinner that day. Well, a couple of weeks prior to our arrival we got a text from KOA that they were hosting a Thanksgiving dinner and providing the turkey, then all interested guests would bring a passing dish. It was amazing! The food was all so good, and we spent time getting to know the other guests at our table who were all fantastic! There were around 120 people at the dinner, and I believe everyone had a great time. Our cabin was wonderful and clean. The only minor complaint/concern we had was how close our fire pit was to the dry decorative grasses (about 2’ away was all) by our cabin, so we weren’t comfortable having a fire. Other than that, everything was perfect! We were only about 20 minutes from downtown, so that was also a benefit of staying here.
Wow! This is completely out there for anyone to find. But I still must call it a Hidden gem! Extremely kind staff and your accommodations are within a very reasonable budget. I only wish I had more time to enjoy all of the amenities
Amazing campground. We had a big family Thanksgiving get together and stayed at R15, which is one of the premium sites with a gated area that includes a gazebo, fire pit, sink, bbq pit, tv, cornhole, and plenty of seating. We have pets and could let them roam around in the gated area instead of cooping them up in the camper all day. We basically lived under that gazebo all day cooking/washing dishes even in the cold as it was so nice. Aside from the well maintained sites, the office area was amazing for hanging out to warm up from the cold and play pool, ping pong, and other board games. Definitely one of the best campgrounds we've stayed at. The kids were never bored. Random note: Try to avoid coming back to the campground when there's an event at the Grand Ole Opry starting up. We were stuck in over an hour of traffic to move 1.2 miles. A trick we figured out too late is to take the road on the other side of the highway and come in the back way (from the north). All the traffic is in the lane to turn west on McGavock so going east to Pennington Bend Rd instead should save you a significant amount of time.
