5D Ranch

We had such a wonderful experience at 5D Ranch & Camping! My boys and I were hosted this past weekend, and we absolutely loved the property and the campsites. The atmosphere was peaceful and family-friendly, with plenty of space to relax and explore. We especially enjoyed fishing together and walking the beautiful trails that wind through the property—it gave us a chance to slow down and really enjoy nature. The campsites were well kept, and the entire ranch had a welcoming feel. I’m grateful for the hospitality and highly recommend 5D Ranch & Camping to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and family-friendly getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay! Site 24 was perfectly secluded and felt like we were the only ones there. The property is beautiful - we loved exploring all the trails and will definitely return! Julie and Charlie were wonderful hosts - highly recommend.

My son and I met Julie at the entrance at the exact time discussed, we were led to our campsite and educated on what we could and could not do, and then left alone for our weekend trip. We had fun setting up camp, cooking our dinner, and then hopping in one of the provided Jon boats at the fishing lake in the back of the property and had a blast. We woke up and made it to the boats just before the sunrise and had an awesome time. We will be back guaranteed.

This is our family's 3rd time back because we love it so much. The land is beautiful with wide open spaces and thick forest too. The hiking is really great and there are a lot of trails with the ability to hike a long distance or a short walk depending on what you want. The host is gracious and kind and makes everything easy. The kids loved the boats, and each kid was able to catch a fish. Book this place with confidence, you will have a great time just relaxing and recharging.

Amazing hosts sharing a breathtaking property with hiking/horseback riding trails, fishing ponds, paddle boats, and fresh eggs! All sites are very well maintained. We stayed in a tent at site 23 which is surrounded by the pines and has a big spool table, chairs, and fire ring! There are sites closer to the lake and bathhouse that can accommodate big rigs. We really appreciated being led directly to our campsite with special care being taken to point out the deeper holes in the road. Y'all took great care of us. Thanks again!!

A great place to go camping in the Greater Houston Area. Was there for Cubs Scout camping outing and it was perfect. Definitely needed a GPS to get there as it was definitely rural. The campsite is maintained well, but 'primitive' - that is, no power or water except at a small shack by the entrance. I liked it being primitive as it made the camping that much more camping like. The area is wooded and good for walking and exploring around.

I had a great time. Had one helluva hike. Downtown historic navasota is just minutes away. Good antiquing. Would recommend. I'll be back.
