Pratt Nature Center

I chaperoned a fourth grade field trip to Pratt. The kids LOVED it. They were so excited to just mess around in the creek. They explored and collected rocks. The Pratt guides were so knowledgeable about the local plants, and their enthusiasm rubbed off on our students. I highly recommend a trip to Pratt!

This nature preserve & and day camp is one of the hidden gems of New Milford. Professional leadership and loving counselors. The woods are quiet, with meandering trails, lots of riverfront for kids to splash in. And some easy to love friendly farm animals. Best nature experience you could give you child. Highly recommended!

There's piles of mud everywhere that you can't walk around, and you have to walk through 2 rivers to complete the trail.

Summer camp at the Pratt Center has been an amazing experience for my 4 and 7 year olds. Every day when I pick them up they are so excited to share all of the experiences they had during the day. And I feel so good knowing they are experiencing the outdoors and playing games, frogging, hiking, archery- things I remember doing as a kid that so many kids don't get to experience nowadays. Highly recommend!

Pratt Nature Center is an absolutely amazing! This is the 2nf summer our son has participated in their summer program. He loves going everyday! The counselors are well trained and very knowledgeable! He comes home and can't wait to share everything he has learned that day! FABULOUS place for families that want their kids to disconnect with electronics and reconnect with nature!
