Park Bar

The bartender had a very unprofessional attitude. While I was simply having a conversation with my friends, he inserted himself into it and decided to comment on our opinion about the poor service we were receiving. The situation quickly escalated when he became offensive, told us to "shut up," took our drinks away, and said he would "gladly give us a refund if we got out of his bar right now." I have worked in the hospitality industry for 17 years (and counting), and even when a guest may be completely in the wrong, you never speak to customers in that tone. Telling a customer to "shut up" is absolutely unacceptable under any circumstance. This was, by far, one of the most disappointing and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had while going out for a drink after work.

Horrible, horrible bartender experience. He screamed at me and my friends, took our drinks back without giving a refund, and kicked us out for absolutely no reason at all. I asked for one shot and he poured two, then tried to charge me $22 even though we had already tipped $10 earlier. I got a drink and he didn’t pour any liquor into it whatsoever, a complete waste of money and a truly horrible bartender. Me and my friends were simply having a conversation when he suddenly came from behind the bar, yelling at us and arguing with us about our opinions, then told me to shut up in an extremely rude and aggressive way. He told us to "get out of his bar" and had a completely disgusting attitude the entire time. This felt like emotional assault, mental assault, and social assault. We feel deeply offended by this horrid situation and his condescending, vulgar behavior. We left feeling extremely upset, genuinely scared, and threatened after such a degrading and disturbing encounter.

This is the perfect bar to grab a drink and mingle. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is so hands on and kind. Special shout out to the bartender on the weekend Julian who always goes above and beyond and makes everyone feel welcome. If you need a drink around Union Square this is the spot to go!

Julien has been the best bartender for all of the years we have been coming to park bar. We have been coming since 2023 and just love having this place as our neighborhood spot. I highly recommend coming here for a drink, for a party, for an event or just to enjoy a weeknight or weekend night. A true neighborhood gem.

Came in and had a blast. That bartender clocked in for work. Pretty sure I saw him deliver a baby. Super fun and charismatic. Great music. Great drinks. Great vibes. Hangover well worth it.

Vibes were strong, music was excellent, bartender (Jacqueline/Jack) was amazing - fast & friendly service.. even bought us a shot before we left. Highly recommend for post dinner drinks!!
