The North Face 5th Avenue

This store is amazing!!!! One of the best flagships I have seen for the category of sports/outdoors. Especially loved the gigantic LED wall that extends from the first floor to the second and onto the ceiling. It was shot by one of the North Face athletes and shows two ice climbers. At first you do not realize it is a video but then you see the subtle moves they make.

Big place but still needs to improve facilities like one floor for men and one floor for women, it could be easy to find more items specifically.

Prior to dropping by, I tried calling the store and the call was never answered. When I arrived, I saw many employees standing around but just one on the register while the checkout line built up. Tried to get a defective jacket zipper repair started and it involved waiting in line at the register for 5 minutes for a single purchase and single return to be processed. When I got to the front, all the employee did was hand me a blank tablet and tell me to submit a claim and wait a week or two for a reply from corporate. Not a great look for a brand new flagship store. Patagonia is so much better.

I was looking for a medium size jacket, there was no size at the store and I asked if I could pay and if they could take in another store. Impressive: the attendant just told me"we don’t t have phones to call to another store, we have what are here". No empathy or at least, education. Impressively bad.

Very nice store and SA Mike went the extra mile to get me a brand new stock of the jacket. Look for him if you need help finding a specific piece. Keep it up.

This new store is so nice! Everyone that works there was very helpful and friendly. Especially Carmen! Hands down one of the friendliest people I have ever encountered working in retail. They truly made the experience at this store one to remember.

Yo just when I thought it was over Dan the supervisor saved the day. He fixed my goretex bib and showed me a pocket I never knew existed. Hes deserves a raise for going above and beyond. Thank you Northface.
