LaSalle / Peru KOA Journey

We stayed 5 days. Great little family owned campground just far enough from the beaten path. Dave and Linda take pride with the place. Well manicured and kept. Excellent bath house. We visited with owners several times while there, great folks. Just a few miles away from downtown Utica and all the state parks and hiking. We will definitely be back.

A nice quiet clean family friendly campground. We really enjoyed our stay. The bathrooms were very clean, the pool is a nice size and good temperature. The kids loved that they could borrow basketballs and play basketball, I loved the quiet babbling brook and the peaceful surroundings. I don't think I have ever been to a more peaceful family friendly camp ground. There were even cows grazing next door but no farm odors! We tent camped out first two nights until rain swamped our tent. ( I loved site 36 near the bridge, but the land is low and if rain is forecast other site with higher ground were better.) We were able to get a cozy cabin for the last night which was had ac which was was a treat! One of the best campgrounds we have ever been to!!!

Very pleasant, nice and quite campground. It’s located in a very natural surrounding with a little creek. The bathrooms are very clean and well operated, like the campground in general. The friendly host helped us out with some grocery from her own storage. We definitely recommend this campground.

One of the best campgrounds! Well maintained, peaceful, fantastic staff. Highly recommend this place. I can't say enough about this place. From the well stocked store, pool and dog park, all is exceptional! |Picnic table and fire ring are furnished as well perfectly placed trash cans and dumpster.

We loved our overnight stay, quiet, great showers, bullfrogs sang us to sleep and sweet birds singing this am. We did experience heavy rain but because of the short grass everywhere made it easy to load up. We will be back for sure.

I came with my family. We had a great stay in our pop-up camper. Very clean and well-maintained grounds. Restrooms and showers were top-notch. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyable little campground to stay. Enjoyed the pool on the hot days. Close to Starved Rock. Quiet at night and mornings. Had a nice family feel to the whole place. Will definitely be back.

I read several poor evaluations, but it was perfect for our needs. We had a pull thru for our 39 ft coach w/tow, full hook up & it was quick & easy in & out. We were at the very front of the grounds, and spaces were close and right next to the road. Would not want to be in that location more than overnight. But we did walk through the grounds, over a bridge/small creek, up a little hill & there was quite a bit of space for a nice walk w/o leaving their campground. Several more hookups (not sure if full or partial) in a low area that looked like it could be wet if it rained. Also a couple cabins and lots of tent spaces up the hill on flat land. It was quite pretty, very quiet and again, perfect for our needs. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Sorry no pictures.
