Easterlin Park was perfect for our quick camping trip last week. We camp with a tiny camper, and site D-1 fit us just right. The palm trees around our site gave off the jungle feel we had hoped for. The gentleman who took my phone call to book, and who also checked us in, Mr. Lucas, could not have been more pleasant. The park also had a night security guard, Mark, who was great to chat with. The two shower houses were super clean. Be sure to walk the nature trail if you visit. The whole experience was wonderful, and the entire staff should give themselves a pat on the back for the great experience they offer the public at a very reasonable cost. Camping was only $50 a night with power and water. We can’t wait to come back in the summer. Thank you, Easterlin Park!
Easterlin Park is located in an area that takes you by surprise. It almost gives a secluded feel to the park. There is an entrance fee per car/occupancy, but its reasonable and I didnt get charged going on a Wednesday. One lap around the park is approximately 1 mile. There is signage for a nature trail but the sign indicated that the trail is closed until further notice. A playground area and equipment are available for kids, there is a small lake/large pond in the center of it, volley ball courts, cookout areas, hardened restroom facilities and a large population of ducks and iguanas. There is also a campground area for RVs or tents. Although the park is fairly small it offers a variety of amenities and I was able to accomplish my exercise goal. I would recommend visiting Easterlin Park.
A County Park in the middle of the city. Much more conveniently located than Markham Park. Not as quite since it sits next to a railroad track and I95. Spaces are tighter, but since I was visiting friends in Winston Park and Pompano Beach it save me miles and time on our short visit. The park was clean, hookups some of the best placement I've ever had. I will go back, even with the train and road noise.
They close bathroom all day on Thursday, yet Friday at 11am and still closed. Not good. Electricity box didn't work and needed service upon arrival. Front desk called me asking me about a "blue card"? Had better experiences at other campsites for cheaper. Also it's very loud surrounded by freeway.
We stayed at the campground and it was very nice. Tons of trees giving great shade for your camper. The laundry room and showers were spotless. The staff and security were very friendly. The location brings lots of road noise between I95 and the railroad but the location is great to be able to see south Florida as you are centrally located. I'd definitely stay here again.
Beautiful nature Park that offers camp grounds, Frisbee golf, play grounds, pavilions, volleyball and nature paths, bbq grills, picnic areas with plenty of area to run around and play for the babies or dogs and all surrounding a huge pond. The park is very well kept. The park has wildlife abundantly, 🐿️, 🦆, wild 🕊️, coyotes, iguanas are just a few. This is a special place to go and just take a walk or watch the scenery. This is one of my favorite parks
I took my 100yr old veteran of WWII father (Marine Corps/Semper Fi) for a drive thru the park and unfortunately he needed to use the bathroom at the campground, because the only other facilities are adjacent to the entrance which is fairly far away. Well, after parking in the handicapped spot and helping him to the bathroom with his WALKER, it was LOCKED on a Sunday afternoon (lunchtime) and after getting him back to the car to drive to the other facility, he had already went in his pants in my brand-new SUV’s cloth interior. I know there is a sign saying campers only while entering the campground, but this was totally understandable under the circumstances! This is a BROWARD COUNTY PARK that property owners that reside here help pay taxes for and the bathroom facilities are LOCKED DURING THE DAY! We are both property owners and tax payers here. I frequent state parks, county parks, and national parks all over our great country and this is the first-time I’ve ever encountered bathroom facilities LOCKED DURING THE DAYLIGHT HOURS and most especially on the weekends.
