The toilets were clean, had a tap , and had good space for a group of 100. The morning was so beautiful with fog around. It has good hiking options around. 🦃 Visited in morning and evening
Pretty good place to camp. We are not from around this area so I only give it 4 stars because camping to us is usually a little more private. But the area is beautiful and they have clean bathrooms and places to shower. The campground was full the night we stayed and it was actually pretty quiet at a decent time. Our boys loved it. They have a fire pit and picnic table at every site. I would reccomend it.
Clean vault restroom. Running tap. Lots of ants, beetles, and large spiders running around climbing onto your things. And yes, there are ticks around. Careful where you step. Most of the site is sloped. Some flat areas.
Great location. Feels like you're so far away from civilization when in fact you're not. Great view of the lake and the bay as well. Highly recommend!
Away from it all without having to go far. Plenty of space for tents near tables or away from eating/fire area. Lots of space for running around, good parking. Will be back!
Very good group site close to home. New bathrooms, water spigot, locked gate on the road (it is Oakland, after all)
Looks like a good group campsite with a view overlooking the lake and access to hiking trails.
