This is the 2nd time we camped at Moss Park and I have to say it's one of our favorites! The staff is super friendly and the premises are very clean! The campsites are also clean with each having electric and water hookups! There are great hiking trails and the park itself is absolutely beautiful with several boat/kayak ramps! The park has some great playgrounds and covered pavilions for barbecuing and picnicking! We will definitely be back for more camping Adventures!!! Highly recommend this place!!
Beautiful and peaceful place to relax. 😌 We really enjoyed our time here: the nature is gorgeous, the park is clean, and the atmosphere is great for families. 🌳👨👩👧👦 Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. 👍 The only small concern was the staff member collecting trash on the ATV - he wasn't rude, but he could benefit from some customer service training. 🤔 Overall, Moss Park is a wonderful place and definitely worth visiting. ✨ #Nature #Park #Families #Staff #Training #Visit
Great park close to home. Love the campground. Sites are all nice most are shaded . Nice hiking and we’ve kayaked the lakes. Day use area very nice as well. Great location to stay if you’re visiting the parks
This is the most beautiful place you can imagine...we can't wait to come back!!!!! The price was great! Bathrooms were huge!
If you’re near Lake Nona and want to connect with nature in a pure, untouched way, this is a great spot. You’re safely inside a national park, with lake views, ramps for jet skis and boats, a kids’ playground, and walking trails. They also host kids’ parties. It’s wonderful — I love it! I can walk while enjoying the beauty of nature and listening to the birds. So relaxing.
We paid for the site we would be staying in. We drove 20 hours in Indiana and had a problem with our car. When we arrived at the gate we could not get in because even though we paid for the site they do not give you the code to get in. We called the after hours and spoke with a sheriff as well as were told that the staff was not willing to come and open the gate for us. Not a great way to start. We have camped for 50 years and have never heard of paying for the site and not being given the code to get in. Long story short. Our car was in the shop for days and we got back to the campground an hour late. I was repeatedly called to come and move our camper our it would be towed. Our car was not drivable. We returned to find another trailer on our site blocking our way out and the owner was sitting on our picnic table. Not nice. Not kind. Not professional. Cheap price but you get what you pay for. The final craziness was that we were supposed to pay a fine for leaving late or we would not be welcome in Orange County in the future. Future camper, beware.
Going to put the one negative at the top nothing to major for me but others might find it relevant; the map that is given is very helpful. I would highly recommend also using All trails app in conjunction with the map that's handed out as its good for a very broad general area of where things are but lacks precision. (You'll understand if you grab one and go ) When i went with my family it was beautiful, staff were very friendly. Park is nice, good way to spend the weekend if need to get away from the bustle and hustle of modern society. Trails are marked with paint keep eyes at trees. Start of trail will show which color to follow. Paths that we took were overall pretty distinguishable from non trail paths.
