North Carolina State Fairgrounds Campground

I had a cut from a bathroom lock and the EMS bandaged it for me right after arriving at the fair! Hats off to the EMS staff!! The food was good but prices were alittle high. Parking was also high and about two blocks from gate entrance. More food vendors that actual sites to see. The cable ride around the fair was the highlight for us. For the younger people, it will always be a good day at the fair!! We had a good time but walked alot to see what all else could be offered for older adults.

Lots of expensive food! A lot of people! A lot of expensive games! A lot of walking just to get to the rides (but maybe that depends on the entrance to go into). But it was something to do with the family so overall it was worth it. We had a good time. 10/10 recommend? No but they get some stars.

It was fun! Honestly its 90% just food vendors and the majority of them all sell the same stuff. I think people mainly go for the viral spots they saw on TikTok, which will all have huuuge lines, so just be mentally prepared for that. Also, find out where exactly the entrances are, cause if you park in a far lot, it can be a 20 minute walk

Made a reservation on the campsite weeks in advance . the week of my stay, was notified of campsite Lot number change. I was Never was told WHY, I was moved. Dispatcher was rude . I wonder do she smell like what she was talking. I was made out to be the bad person. The Superior (Major) or MOD, was not apologetic to what happen, Did not even try to make a complimentary offer for troubles. Placed all blame on me. My advice is to check and double your LOT number , or they will have someone in your Lot that you paid for that date. Again, I was never told why all this situation started in first place, but I was clearly told THEY did nothing wrong. I was wrong in how I handle things. Oh yes.. the victim is now the offender. FYI: I was told this happens quite a bit. Buyer beware or you will be the OFFENDER. I have never had a issue and never posted a negative review. SORRY NOT SORRY! On a better note, for the $$ lot is nice for what they supply. Just be careful of lot change. I would like for someone to reach out about this comment on the NC STATE FAIR ground end of things. BUT I DOUBT THEY WILL. I do believe in Karma whole- heartily and sleep well at night.

Great location with FHU but no bathhouse. Row after row of friendly RV'ers. Pets welcome! Right in the middle of most attractions & eatery's. I would use this spot again for a short stay/ overnight.

Rating the actual state fairgrounds venue as a whole: For me, what kills the experiences here is the parking. Other than that, I love the weekend flea markets and annual state fair. But only after I've found a decent handicap parking space.

This place was insane. It was so many people, but they were so friendly a d courteous. I went at night but I would recommend daytime activities with the children. Also I might add if the maps were a little more detailed. I never got to .y BBQ donuts 🤔
