This was a great place to stay and exactly what we were looking for. We chose it for its convenient access to both the bike trails and the freeway, and it did not disappoint. It’s about a five-minute ride to the Mission Trails. We biked four miles and visited three of the historic missions. The next day, we headed south along the river, riding through beautiful wooded areas. Clemente greeted us upon arrival and skillfully helped guide us into our spot, which we appreciated. The site itself is very basic, offering only electricity and water, but that was all we needed. It’s also just a short drive to the San Antonio River Walk and the The Alamo, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. Communication throughout our stay was excellent, and we felt safe at all times thanks to the locked gate. We would definitely stay here again.

really strange But true

Excellent safe place to stay while visiting so many great attractions in the area which are close but not too close, San Antonio is a huge very busy place and we chose this place for its size of only 5 spots, price, a locked gate day and night that only registered guests have a key for and just around the corner is the start of the awesome biking/hiking River Walk Trail system that brings you to each and every mission, last one being the Alamo. That’s the safety that we really appreciated knowing we can go off in the day or night for the attractions and know that no one was just going to drive through our unattended campground also the owners live right on the property and take excellent care of it. Only reason for missing one star is the lack of WiFi also there was some street racing that goes all over San Antonio at night that you can hear even though this campground is not located right next to roads like others. We enjoyed our stay, would return and as other reviews state, the owners are super friendly and accommodating. Full hookups, 30/50 amp service, good water and pressure, 80 antenna channels, many in HD

Great little park. Super friendly hosts. I'm still a green traveler so having someone guide me to park was great. Free Wi-Fi was also a major bonus and helped me save some money. It can get noisy from the highway at night but after the second night , you don't notice it.

Gabby and Clemente are amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and stress-free. They even came out to help us park and delivered our welcome packet directly to our parked location. The park itself may be small, but it is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities including electricity, water, and sewer hookup. The locked gate provided an added sense of security and peace of mind throughout our entire stay. Plus, their location only 15 minutes away from the famous Alamo and Riverwalk areas made it the perfect home base for our adventures. We had such a fantastic time that we're already planning our next visit. Thank you, Gabby and Clemente, for your wonderful hospitality!

Great location for exploring San Antonio and the missions. The owners are a great source of local knowledge and very helpful. Access to the bike trail is about a minute from the campground. Will stay again when in San Antonio.

Nice 4 campsites in the back. Long driveway big front yard. No sign and a locked gate. Not for big rigs. But worked out fine and a great location.

Great hosts. Gave us specific information based on what we wanted to do. Sites were clean and had full hookups. Small campground only five sites. Basically an area on someone’s property. The hosts house is nearby. Site 5 has the most privacy. The hosts obviously care about you and their campground.
