This place is nasty as hell. The amount of trash, mice and rats. The bathroom is dirty ever time I come here. The lack of friendlyness is very poor for a pilot. The amount of money they charge for parking is crazy!!!! I always thought that truckers were appreciated for all that we do but instead they just rob us for our money for parking!!!!! With the 22$ for one night of parking they should be able to get rid of all that trash on the property. The showers are small for the amount of money you pay for a shower. Over all this place is truly disgusting and not worth it overall. The nerve of the employee to knock on doors asking for money for everything is mind blowing. I would not stay here again if I didn't have too.

Small track stop near the Mexico border, super popular. Unfortunately, it's a big traffic jam. Alright, to get in all right to get out. I just wanted to get on the cat. Scale, and that's like a thirty minute, wait

The Wendy's at this truckstop needs serious training i placed an order at the kiosk it asks no lettuce no pickles no cheese on a fish sandwich it showed me no lettuce no pickles no cheese and they messing up and want to argue instead taking it back and removing the items charged me 12 $ and change and I got nothing nothing!! And 21 $ dollars a night for parking 2 nights 42 $ I checked its alllll prime parking 😑 never again California is worthless

Showers with cold water only, switched few of them and cold only! Laundromat, washer machine only 2 and have not enough water to wash, took my clothes mostly dry and dirty like before i use those washers. Working staffs mostly don't understand or speak English, for my complaint just smiled and ignored. Never stop here again!🤮

No Cargo Van Parking. 2 hour parking limit, even if you are willing to pay for a parking spot.

I just drove in from Arizona. I drive an Expedite cargo van for FedEx Custom Critical. My van has signage and D.O.T. and MC numbers on it. I backed in out front, as far away from the front door as possible. I went in, got some pizza, snacks and drinks. When I was at the cashier, I asked him if it was ok to park out front in my van. He said yes. I said, can I stay for the night? Because I want to shower in the morning. He said, oh no, only 2-3 hour parking out front. So I asked him, do you have a place I can park for the night? He said no, unless you want to pay for a truck spot. So I said, y'all offer us expediters the "professional driver card" to accumulate points and get shower credits. I buy all my gas at Pilot Flying J, just so I can get those perks, but I'm not allowed to stay overnight?? He said no, but suggested that I can leave, and come back in the morning to shower. Or, he said, just park out on the street, it's safe. I said, whatever and shook my head, right after I spent $24 in the store. I drove to the street and looked for some legal street parking. The is absolutely none out front. But yes, people and trucks do park there, but it's the bike lane on both sides. The semi trucks actually stick out in the lane of travel! No way I'm parking there! I went down a block and found a spot on a side street. I got up at 3 AM California time, drove back to the Pilot. Low and behold, the parking lot out front was completely full of people sleeping in their vehicles!! People had their windows blocked so you couldn't see in. Unbelievable! I absolutely had no where to park to go grab a shower!! So I waited in the lot for awhile, and finally a car by Wendy's left, and I backed in. The moral of the story is, here I am, a legit cargo van expediter, needing a place for the night, so I can use my earned points/credits that I accumulate by buying gas at Pilot Flying J, and the cashier tells me no overnight parking out front, and I would have to pay for a truck spot if I wanted to stay! SMDH!!! I understand that there is a homeless problem, and people are living in their vehicles. But personally think that they are the ones that should be parking in the streets. Expediters that are legit, with all the proper signage, are the ones that are actually spending their money at the Pilot Flying J, not the homeless. JMO.

I am disabled but can still drive a truck.just can't walk far. This truckstop has 1 handicap parking spot that I know of and every. time I come here someone with out a handicap plate or placard Is parked in it. I call inside and a manager comes out and checks to see if they have one.most times the don't and they move them. I called in today and after 4 hang up calls Diana answers I informed her of the situation and she responded with first come first serve. She told me they can not ask to see the placard. It's is against the law .not true per California law they can ask them to display it.I told her in the pass managers come out and check. If not disabled they move them. I asked to speak with a manager and she said I'll ask them and hung up on me.then no one answered it back. I came in side and asked for a manager a you lady kept asking me to repeat my self. I ask for a English speaking person. Because she no comprinda. One came and called a manager (Monica) came and spoke with me said no one was in the spot now.I informed her I was a quadruple by pass patient and had cancer last year. It was hard enough for me to walk out of back parking lot over 600 ft down stairs and in to building. To find a manager. If the girl on phone had not hung up on me I wouldn't have to come in.The manager apologized for the parking situation but said nothing about retraining the girl. She told me I could move my truck up front but I told her by the time I got back to my truck I would be too exhausted. To drive back.I could of had another Heart attack. She did not volunteer to walk me back to the truck???for my safety she just stood there.please train your mangers better. I'll be talking to the ADA about. It thanks but no thanks smh
