Love to stroll around with views of san diego down town and the coronado island over the water. Especially in the night lights!! Lots of free parking, play area for kids.
Very nice place to bring and enjoy your takeout meal. Also pleasant for walking along the bay to see the boat traffic. An abundance of available free parking too!
It's a great spot for a walk or run. The park and bathrooms were very clean. We even saw two aircraft carriers (Nimitz and Kaga) departing the bay.
Lots of fire pits. Restaurants walking distance. However, closes at 1030pm. All good.
This place is really beautiful. I love how shelter Island is a peninsula!
