Spanish Landing Park (West)

Spanish Landing Park on San Diego's vibrant waterfront boasts a sandy beach, public art displays and pristine marina views. Its unique location gives visitors an glance of an important moment in the history of San Diego: the 1769 meeting of the Gaspar DePortola and Father Junípero Serra expeditions.

Good place to chill while waiting for someone at the airport. Restrooms available. Water fountain and plenty of parking, and trash cans.

One of my favorite places to paddle board. It’ll cost you about a dollar an hour to park. Completely worth it for a sand beach, bathrooms, and shower. They have park benches as well. I love being able to do all my prep for paddle boarding on the grassy hill.

What a peaceful trail. Easy to walk with kids, and you can have a break at the picnic table. There is a small beach next to the trail. Parking space is widely opened to the public.

This is a great place to park just to walk along the water, but it also is an amazing place to park if you have to pop into the airport on business. I parked here to get my global entry interview done and saved about 10 bucks.

I only go here to use the bathroom when I'm dropping off people for Uber to the airport. Bathroom is usually clean if no transient people are sleeping in there. I think some of the people that work at the airport park here. I always see the same cars parked in the early mornings. There's 3 EV chargers if you drive an EV. Looks like a nice place to do a morning jog.

Great place to walk, run or ride a bicycle. Nice views of the harbor. Restrooms along walking paths. There is plenty of benches to sit and look at the harbor and a play area for kids.
