Urban Diversion has gotta be the best thing I have discovered in living in San Francisco. Their activities are always very fun to attend, and the mix of members new and old is always something to look forward to. I cannot even begin to list all the interesting things I have done with UD - white water rafting, cave crawling, learning to scuba dive and get certified, hikes to Yosemite and the Grand Canyon. Just this last weekend, we did the most thrilling camping and driving through Death Valley over 4 days, and it was by far the most memorable experience I have had with this club.

Just came back from an epic off- road adventure through Death Valley with UD . Brian and Christina were our hosts. They were AMAZING leaders who always kept safety a priority while not lacking adventure. They were also great camp cooks that whipped up some delicious dishes. We always had more than enough food for meals and snacks. I met some amazing people on this adventure, moods were always upbeat and all were ready to explore. I look forward to my next adventure with UD!

I went on the Death Valley Overlanding Trip, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Brian and Christina were incredible hosts, the food was fantastic (they brought a pizza oven to the desert.. a pizza oven!!!), and the people on the trip made it even more special. Highly recommend!

I so enjoy this outing club. There are many things I dig about it – the fantastic camping trips and outdoor excursions, the broader community that develops overtime, the fact that it is a bunch of people coming together and not necessarily selective or elitist as I understand, some other clubs can be– and so much more. I’ve been a member for 5+ years now, surprised that I only found it during the pandemic, but glad I did. Brian and Christina have done an amazing job over the past handful of years adding to and expanding the scope of the awesome adventures. And there are classic events. I look forward to attending each year, as they are just a blast. I find it fun to engage in the offerings of the city and beyond with others who are excited to do the same thing, and find that this club offers that. Its members are diverse, and there is always opportunity for interesting conversation and to learn something. I am a big fan.

UD made our backpacking trip to Havasupai Falls absolutely unforgettable! Our guides balanced fun and safety perfectly, creating an atmosphere where everyone felt supported, no matter their skill level. Each day was organized and the meals were delicious. The scenery, the challenges, and the camaraderie all came together to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I walked away with incredible memories, amazing photos, new friends and a huge appreciation for the effort the UD team puts into making each trip extraordinary. They are genuinely passionate about what they do.

Had one of the most memorable trips to date with this group, led by Brian and Christina. Throughout the trip I was impressed by the hosts' ability to plan such a wonderful, engaging, and rewarding experience. All aspects from food, scheduling, routing, and help folks that needed them. Brian was also very involved in his communication before, during (across multiple cars), and after the trip. Would highly recommend this group and this trip 🙂
