Well kept facility in middle of SF. Passed available for USF alumni, Seniors and Diabled people. I come mainly for the Olympic swimming pool It’s great for practice swimming 25yard laps. Has deep ends to 13ft for practicing deep dives. The gym has all other facilities for working out, stretching, combative and martial arts, basketball and volleyball courts.

BEWARE: RUDE STAFF! They will police you while you workout and call you out in public. How rude can you get and BTW, we‘re paying long-time members in good standing. Shame on you!

Luv the Water Aerobics class on odd days from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Everyone in the gym are 😎

Awful experience. The gym is often closed during student holidays, and in the summer it closes at 7 p.m., which is not mentioned when you purchase an annual membership. I would avoid this place and go to a regular gym with normal opening hours.

If you’re 55 or over you can get a 15 visit pass for $4 a visit. Unless you plan on going to the gym more than 4 days a week, there isn’t a better deal in the city. They have a good selection of weight machines, free weights, cardio equipment and the biggest indoor pool in the area that’s rarely even close to full. Only limitation is you have to visit before 2PM M-F, and when school isn’t in session they’re closed Sundays.

Overall it’s a well equipped gym, but some machines seem to break down all the time; I’m looking at you StairMaster. The biggest issue for this gym is the weird hours and long breaks that occur in conjunction with the school schedule. If you’re not a student, the inconsistency really messes up your momentum and progress. Unfortunately, there aren’t many options in the area for gyms, so that’s why I continue to go. It’s an expensive gym for sure and it often closes early or is just closed all together. I wouldn’t recommend for that reason.

The pool is beautiful. Its managed terribly. You never know when it'll be open or closed. They close 1/2 the pool on a whim. There's a schedule online that is updated *whenever* .. There's always a "lifeguard emergency". You cannot call them. So you cannot plan whether or not to swim. It wasn't always like this. It used to be managed well. But, if you want to be consistent with swimming. They are not reliable. Its such a disappointment. Again, the best pool in the city.. they show utter disdain and disrespect for their patrons.
