With beautiful views, trees all around and the peace and quiet of the outdoors, we had a great time. We even lucked out and were able to start a fire.

It was really hot, but there was an amazing view!

Beautiful sunset/sunrise view above from the cloud. Few nice trails. Rather than that, nothing else impressive. Self checkin. Dirty restroom. No bathroom. Low maintenance. My site fire ring wasn't cleaned before we arrived, so we had leftover dust & broken glass from the previous occupation. Also missing grate at site 24. Will not return.

Average campground, 3 stars for the sites themselves, 5 stars for the incredible peak trail. Most spots have very little privacy, and can be quite small, the best view is probably at 25 though this has very little privacy, pick a spot in the back of the camp if you want a tiny bit more privacy. Also, there is a first come-first serve lot which is tucked back a good amount from the main campsite and is a bit more secluded. The price for the sites are good, 25 dollars. Restrooms are clean The sunset views are amazing

Stayed 1 night at site 24 in late November. Pros: *Site itself was very private, cut off from the other sites *Great views from the edge of the site *Nestled in the luscious oak trees *Lots of shade (for summer camping) *We experienced no flies in late November *Beautiful sunrise Cons: *There was little space for a larger tent, ours is about 9x13 feet and there was only 1 spot it would fit *Sort of far from the bathroom, we bring our own toilet tent system, but for those who don’t it would be annoying. *The space was really windy; of course it’s on the edge of a mountain, so I get it. Be prepared for wind. *The drive up was quite windy and more precarious than I was prepared for, but do-able. See my photos, all are taken in or just outside of site #24.

Beautiful campground with amazing views. There are vault restrooms and the roads are paved. Easy to get to. Zero traffic noise. I was the only person in the campground on a Thursday night mid-May. Very few bugs. Each site has 1-2 picnic tables and a fire ring. Potable water spigot available (but make sure to check the park website - Park water was shut off this weekend for repairs). Trash cans available. Reservations are required. Parking / park entrance fee is included in your camping reservation (don’t pay again at the self-pay station). Reminder: please LEAVE NO TRACE. There are trash cans here so it’s easy 🙂 I found the campground very clean. Also, be sure to do the little loop hike around Fremont Peak to see sweeping views and get a close-up look at the radio tower! For that hike, wear pants (not shorts) - tall grasses across the trail, some plants with small thorns and possible tick activity.

我很喜欢这种在云端漫步的感觉,天气好可以看到绝美的日落,晚上可以俯瞰城市的灯火。营地很干净,有火环和桌椅,几乎每个site都有水龙头,手机也有一点信号。
