Panther Beach

Cute!! You will want to go at low tide in order to enjoy more of the beach. The beach younger to traverse some steep sand uneven spots. Not a define path down the beach, it was dirty but the beach perfect.

We went on a weekday and caught the most amazing sunset!

Beautiful beach! We went in the afternoon and there was absolutely nobody on the beach. There is free roadside parking. The climb down could be a little tricky, as you might slip and fall. So need to be careful when doing that short hike of a few metres.

OMYGOODNESS it is a KILLER hike. Incredibly steep . I was SO exhausted by the time I made it back up but it was no doubt worth every drop of sweat for that scenery at the bottom. Afterwards don't forget to stop by the worlds CUTEST fruit stand.

My favorite beach in Santa Cruz area. 10x better than the main Santa Cruz or Capitola beaches. Beautiful view of the water and cliffside. There’s also a secret beach if you go through to the other side of the tunnel on the left. Does get windy so be prepared for that.

Awesome place for enjoying Sunset. Cold winds and warm Sunlight. Amazing arch to take cool pics. Getting to the beach involves climbing down a trail with rocks and slippery surface but it’s worth it. Hidden Gem: It’s possible to climb on to the far rock on the left after you go through the arch and get amazing views. when the tide is low. But please be careful as it can be dangerous. If Tides are high then don’t go to the other end of the arch as entrapment can occur. Definitely recommend going to Panther Beach.

Great spot! Scenic views, strand of sand, big rocks and tide pools. There was a guy fishing off the rock and pulling big fish non-stop. Over an hour he had 20+ of them - (smelts?)
