Prancing Unicorn

I camp here all the time! The host replies quickly with any questions I have. The hot tub is clean and refreshing. The showers are outdoors, clean, warm and give a resort experience. The grounds are eclectic with art installations. The firefly dock is a relaxing place to enjoy the sound of the wind through the trees.

By far become one of my favorite places in the entire world in only a handful of visits, I’ve never been to a place so full of energy and life and opportunities for love and friendship. The site is absolutely incredible there’s hidden art at almost every turn so you could never get bored. No matter if you’ve known the people here for an hour or a year they will treat you like family. The quality of care and how fast people are to welcome you is unmatched. After only a single visit here I was absolutely positive this place was a home away from home and I’m sure you will feel the same❤️

Not sure what all these five stars reviews are, maybe back when it was nice. The place is a dump now. Looks like old art projects just left to rot. The showers were filthy. Many old used products collecting dust. Bathrooms were filthy. Old dilapidated campers trailers and what most folks would call junk about. Looks very dangerous for kids. My husband and I stayed 3 nights in our campervan for a big Oh birthday event and it was magical! Yes it rained but once the sun came out it dried up pretty nicely and the camp grounds are fun to walk around. The outdoor shower is an absolute 10 out of 10 experience. The dance floors inside are super groovy and the staff are some of the nicest people we've met! Love the Prancing Unicorn and we can't wait to visit again 💕

this place is home for me and my family. we love gino and the community. this is an artist-Burning man- community with great people and even better events. want an amazing place to come to where you don't feel like you have to stay in your space. this is the place for you. come and make it better for the next loving people.

Landscape is not maintained. Junker vans and trailers at entrance, very overgrown blackberries on already narrow driveways, and no picnic table. If you like tidy, this place will drive your nuts. But on the good side, the overgrown plants provide privacy on each lot. Not kid/family friendly. All sites are smoking allowed, so air quality is pretty bad. We had trash on site and water spigot didn't work. Pets are not on leash.

This place is a dump. Basically a hippie commune that was an old Elks lodge. No one from the campground on site. You have to email them if there any problem and hope they get back to you..... "when ever". It’s a mud hole when it rains, could only find one side that I won’t get stuck in. There’s junk or as they call it "art" strewn everywhere. $40 for water and electric and if you need to dump your tanks it’s an extra $5. Ripoff!!!!! We would have gone somewhere else but it’s the thanksgiving weekend and everything within 100 miles was booked solid. Now I know why this place was empty. i should have given this place no stars DON’T come here!!!
