Amazing luxury hotel in the heart of Austin. Note: Didn't pay for the stay so no commentary on the actual value. The Four Seasons Austin is an institution as far back as I can remember in Austin when it was the only luxury hotel in town. Located right next to the river, overlooking the congress street bats as well. A bit off from dining or other drinking venues, but downtown austin isn't big enough that a 10 minute walk can't get you to where you want to go. The lobby itself is impressively luxurious, opening onto a grand bar, seating areas, and then check in areas tucked away. The service is impeccable, from the valet at the front to the front desk. Definitely the 5 star feel. The room itself is very well appointed, luxurious bedding, heavenly bed, large sitting area. Doesn't really have a great work desk which is an issue for business travelers, but perfect for vacation. Great complimentary coffee and tea selection. Bathroom is also very well appointed, shower pressure is amazing, and very large bathroom. The rest of the property is also amazing. Lobby bar is great, nice restaurant and outdoor patio overlooking the river, and easy access to a running trail. Very highly recommended.

We recently stayed for 1 night at Four Seasons Austin and it was ok. It didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel and more like a 3 or 4 star hotel at best. The valets are the best part of the hotel and are courteous, friendly and professional. The reception staff were friendly however they refused to extend our checkout time and we had to speak to the reservation manager who quickly extended it. Apparently the room needed to be cleaned for the next guests but then the manager said otherwise. The oak bar food and beverages are great and classy however they are extremely understaffed and we waited 15 minutes before I had to go and speak to the server and let them know we had been waiting. They were kind enough to take off some items from our lunch check. Breakfast at Ciclo was very good and one of fje best parts of our stay. The room was okay but a little underwhelming especially the bathroom. For the price tag for a night at this hotel, it is not worth it.

We came into town to visit friends who recently moved to Austin, we looked and liked the location of the Four Seasons, so made that our base. It was a great choice. The hotel is within easy walking distance to hip restaurants, breakfast places, and sixth street with all the live music. But if you decide you want to have a different kind of day, the hotel also sits on a lake where there are paddle boarders and kayaks galore, areas to lounge in hammocks or big chairs, a saltwater pool, and a big "backyard" space with rocking chairs. We took advantage of all it, and it was great. We went to sixth street to see music, but there was also live music in the lobby bar so there was something for every mood you may be in. The service was all terrific as one would expect, the rooms were comfortable (we had a king overlooking the lake connected to our kids room also overlooking the lake). Housekeeping was impeccable and we had zero complaints about the rooms or the hotel itself. It’s really a great option for a discerning traveller who finds themselves in Austin. We now find ourselves coming up with a new reason to come back. Great hotel. Highly recommend.

An incredible experience at THE BEST location in all of Austin. Lady bird lake and trails on the back side, soco bridge and the heart of downtown at the front, and the most wonderful service and food on the inside. Caleb the concierge made sure it was the best experience ever.

This is a good hotel. The rooms are great. I was allowed to check in 5 hours early. Which made up for them not letting me check out late on a longhorn football weekend. Room service was great. They brought a microwave and fridge to my room for me to help me accommodate my diet. Internet was free. Room had a nice view, and bottled water was good. Overall, pleasant stay

We had a very disappointing experience with your security staff member, Narlin. After leaving the restroom, he accused us of trespassing and asked us to leave, despite the fact that we had been dining at the restaurant earlier. Once we proved this, he walked away without apologizing. When I asked for an apology, he said he could address us however he wanted because he was security. This behavior was rude and unprofessional. Even trained dogs are taught to distinguish who to bark at — I expected better judgment and professionalism, especially from a hotel with such a strong reputation.

Four Seasons Austin is simply spectacular. From the moment you arrive, you can feel that signature hospitality: warm, attentive staff always ready to help. The rooms are spacious, modern, and offer beautiful views of Lady Bird Lake. The restaurant and bar are a big plus: delicious food, well-crafted cocktails, and a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe. The common areas, like the pool and spa, are spotless and designed for pure enjoyment. Best of all is the location: right in downtown Austin, with easy access to restaurants, live music, and the famous lakeside trail. This is a hotel where excellence is non-negotiable, and the experience goes far beyond just a stay. Perfect for both business trips and relaxing getaways.
