Four Points by Sheraton Bakersfield

We stayed here on our way back home. Location is nice, close to restaurants and major roads. It is an old building with some renovation. Some doors throughout the hotel don’t open and close properly. ||The room was nicer with modern style furniture and hardwood floors. We got upgraded so our room was in front of a pool with a balcony, it would be nice in the summer time. However, the walls don’t block any sound from the next door. There were very loud people staying next door to us and our family was woken up at 11:30pm due to the noise. I’m also disappointed by the cleanliness/housecleaning. We found an earwig in the bathroom of our room. In the fitness center, no water cups or towels were available. All the equipments were very old and some were not functioning properly. ||The front desk staff was nice though. ||This is one of the cheaper hotels so the value is good but I hope they continue to renovate more and keep the facility clean and well maintained.

This is my first time back at this hotel and it has had an upgrade. The last time I was here they had taken away the coffee maker and fridge. I dont remember if they also had a microwave. Anyeays, it's back now and im glad. We jad a great stay and look forward to coming back.

Positive: "" Negative: Hotel staff gave me a room w/ king bed, even though I booked a room with 2 queen beds. Ice machine not in each building, the ice machine in main lobby broken.

The place was Peaceful and felt safe. Staff was Awesome 🌟 Pool, Workout space was decent and clean, Jacuzzi was out of service ( No Comment) Room was clean, updated bathroom, Fridge Coffee pot, Safe, Iron & Board, Full Length Mirror and Microwave. Couch, Desk, and Bed was comfortable. No Continental Breakfast, have go to The Bistro restaurant across the way.

Was in Bakersfield for a wedding and had a fun stay at this hotel! The staff was great especially, Leighann and Yulli, two beautiful humans who rescued an abandoned kitten on the property and they both made our stay extra special. The manager was wonderful, too, I’m so sorry I didn’t get her name. We needed last minute vows printed before the wedding and she went above and beyond to help us. I’ll definitely stay here on my next Bakersfield adventure. (Oh and p.s. the room was clean and comfy and the lobby coffee was delicious, but that’s besides the point - the highlight was kitten shenanigans)

Worst experience ever. First, the hotel does not have elevators to 2nd floor and no staff to help with luggage. Secondly, room didn’t have heat, service to rectify situation was extremely slow causing me to just cancel reservation. Desk clerk immediately deactivated the room key and locked me in the room. Then took 15 min to generate a new key and let me out. Also, she said she cancelled my credit card charge, which she didn’t. Now dealing with credit card dispute.

Great stay at the Four Points here! With my Marriott status I got upgraded to a bigger room with a patio. Good price, with Marriott membership was $107 per night which is cheapest in town. Lady at the front was very friendly, and gave me 2 parking passes for our vehicles. Room was modern, clean, and spacious. Seems they did a major renovation and it paid off. TV screen showed my name and gave a welcome message which was cool. Wish there were more bath towels, but that’s not a huge issue. Only problem was a night there was a loud crowd partying late into the night near the pool, but seems the hotel security took care of it. Will be coming back when I visit town again 👌🏾
