La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bakersfield North

I’m a traveling healthcare professional, and often stay in hotels in route from one travel assignment to another. My dog and I stayed here at the beginning of our journey east. We were exhausted when we got there, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. ||The location was convenient and easy to access, there was ample parking available and the parking lot was well lit and safe. The room was clean and very comfortable. Most importantly, the entire staff, from the front desk to facilities to housekeeping— were friendly and helpful. Truly, it’s the staff of a place that make it successful, and this location is a model for that.

Staff here were great and solved our room key issue before immediately before we even left the front desk. The room however was disappointing. They had left the window open and in doing so had let smoke from the outside in. The room is pretty cramped. The only saving grace is the bathroom which was immaculate, with good water pressure and temperature. No TV paper guide and the AC worked but is loud. There was no ice machine on our floor which was a huge bummer. Breakfast is typical nothing terrible or excellent. Although adding one more waffle machine would be nice. Edit: Forgot to mention there was no actual comforter which sucked. And no extra sheets or pillows in the closet like there usually is.

Room is clean and quiet. Front desk staffs are friendly and helpful , makes you feel like home. Jordan is amazing! Would love to stay here again if visiting Bakersfield next time. Keep up the good work!

This place is great. Elizabeth and Veronica are both friendly and personable. Great conversationalist. Very helpful. The location is great with plenty of food options around. The only caveat to that part is it is a bit noisy but that's nothing compared to the graciousness, courtesy, and compassion the staff displays. And the pool and hot tub are welcome relief to weary travelers who just want to relax. All in all, I would definitely stay here again if im in the area.

Clean hotel, great amenities, windows open coffee and good creamer avail 24/7 You walk through the halls and it just smells clean room was spotless. Check-in was easy perfect location for all access to a restaurants. Perfect. Stay for Bakersfield.

I stayed here for a week and it was great. All of the staff was super nice and accommodating. Huge thanks to Jordan, she is the absolute best. She took care of my cat while I was in meetings for work. Jordan is amazing Elizabeth is amazing the whole staff was just great, I can't thank you enough and 5 stars is not enough they get 10 stars in my book.

This is my second LaQuinta on my cross country move. I am happy to say both had great check in, clean room, and breakfast. Reviewing the other properties nearby, they should probably charge more, considering the spacious room, pool, and fitness center. Shout out to Gabriel at the front desk, he made me feel welcome after 9 hours of driving. : )
