PORTAL° Thermaculture

Great to see Portal back in Boulder! The new warehouse space hosts a unique combo of a vintage store, upstairs lounge area, and an events space in the back. Consistent with their other locations, the saunas are piping hot, the plunges are icy cold, and the staff is always smiling.

I’m so glad PORTAL is back in Boulder! It has quickly become one of my favorite spots again 🙂 The wood-fired saunas and cold plunge are dialed in, but what really stands out is the community. It’s the kind of place where you can reset, recover, and actually connect with people. The new warehouse space has so much swag and the events have been a lot of fun!

I love this place so much. Caden and Ollie, just to name a few, take care of us and the space so well. Caden is always super skilled at controlling the temperature in the saunas and Ollie is very attentive and in tune with the clientele. I accidentally burned my arm on the metal frame, something I know I’ll only do once, and even though Ollie wasn’t actively working, he checked in to see how I was doing. It really made me feel seen and cared for. This practice by itself is already potent but you add the incredible people to it and the potency only grows. The community here, both the people who work here and the people who practice (often one and the same) enhances the practice by so much.

Love Portal! I’ve noticed better recovery, better focus, and even just a stronger mindset since making this part of my routine. If you’re in Boulder and you care about performance, connection, or just want to feel alive again — this is the spot.

PORTAL is the bees knees. My favorite addiction. The wood fire saunas are a top shelf experience and the club is unique and so swanky. Bring your friends, meet some strangers, you'll have a great time.

Fantastic establishment. Apart from the excellent sauna and cold plunge, portal offers an event space for yoga classes and other events. Aside from all of these great aspects, the community is what keeps me coming back.

Portal has become one of my favorite spots, great community and an amazing way to recover. The new location has a killer hang out zone clubhouse and the staff is super friendly, always end up hanging out much longer than anticipated!
