Bali Relax Spa

2.5 stars. Some masseuses are great and strong, and some are not that good. There were a lot of massage trainings in between the staff when I was there for the last few times and they were few feet away from my room. They were non-stop talking while I was getting the massages. It was not relaxing at all. Please....do not train your staff or new staff during peak hours. I don't need to listen the conversation about how to give a massage. Sometimes, staff turn on the speaker while they are watching something on the phones or they talk loudly. The place could be cleaner too.

This place is the worst. They will not let you leave unless you tip them $20 or more. I thought $15 was super generous since the masseuse left the room a few times and also stop the massage to talk on the phone. There are other places in the area for the same price and does not hold you hostage. They all seem to have an attitude. Be warn!

Their price is really reasonable, 25 for hair wash/back massage:28 for foot massage;35 for full body massage. however some employees see that if you are a new customer. They tell you that you need to give 10 dollars minimum for tips. If you tip them 10 bucks, they give you an attitude and wont even blow dry your hair at the end. I came back here because of the owner, Anna. She is really nice and professional. I wont mind to tip her 20 bucks for the great service.

Attitude is horrible. Went in to check the price and asked for a menu, and one of the workers asked me why do I need a menu. She wanted to take my other menus from the other spas that I checked out, and asked me why I had them. I told her it isn’t her business. Then bc I didn’t understand her English, I spoke in Cantonese and she said why I spoke in English. Horrible service.

Good massage therapist- he was awesome, but not the friendliest people in the front. The front is rude, with cigarettes in their mouth, and demanding payment up front. The front smells like cigarettes. Also mandatory $10 min tip for the foot massage... if the front was different, thw experience would be better.

I haven't been to Bali yet, but I am sure this place is nothing like it. Shout out to the lady who recently relieved me of horrible neck and back pain. Had she given me her name I would've gladly given her a shout out. Anyhow, down to the nitty-gritty. I didn't like how unfriendly the man taking my money was. Nor was I fond off how the lady who massaged me blew her nose and didn't go wash her hands. All that aside I wish the massage had been the full hour and not 55mins. Here is what you get: This place is CASH ONLY and yes as mentioned in other reviews there is a MINIMUM TIP amount of $10! but in my case beggars can't be choosers so I pay the piper. It'll run you $35 for an hour massage: $45 total with the minimum tip. The place is NOT pretty but it smells clean (if that makes any sense). Would I do it again if I had to? Sure! Keywords "if I had to". I wouldn't willingly choose to return but in case of an emergency like I had that day; hell yeah. I walked out pain-free. That is priceless in my book.

I had fallen earlier this week and decided to call here since I was in the area to confirm a lady could attend me for 3:30. They told me yes and recognized my voice as soon as I walked in. They asked that I pay first, so I did. She then said they tip was $10 and up, and I gave her $45 for the hour (full body) because that’s what I read on the reviews. Wrong- she said the massage was $40 (with tax) and that the tip was $10. I wasn’t gunna fight it because I was the only non-Asian person here and their English wasn’t that great, so I let it go. I gave her the $50 and she said if I liked the massage then I could pay more. I hadn’t been here before but other massage parlors I’ve been to provide a service before expecting tipping. I used the bathroom, and got ready in my room. The curtain on the door could have been bigger and thicker (it was more of a lace and if I was any taller it would have not been private). Linda got me started. Her massage itself was great, I’m a bit sore but that’s natural, but there were other factors that took away from the potential of the place. The bed and floor creaked every time she put pressure on me, the people talking outside were louder than the soothing instrumental music, and I was not offered any tea or water at the end of my massage. Linda thankfully understood when I asked her to no go so hard, but I didn’t like that another staff member came in to grab something from the room I was in while Linda was working on me. I especially didn’t like that at some point Linda left to grab something and left the door OPEN when I was clearly still on the table partially naked. I understand that staff need tips since salaries don’t often cover the expenses, but it this place raises the prices by a bit they could afford to buy proper curtains and pay their staff a little more.
