Sir Spa was the BEST. My husband and I went there for the first time yesterday and we were delighted by the experience. A friendly staff who saw to our comfort. My massuse, Manny, made me feel like a million bucks. A truly memorable day. We WILL go back to Sir Spa again!

The massage therapist was great the facility is dirty and dated. You would think with such great therapists that they would take their recent increase in prices and put back into the facility. The tiles were turning black, mold in steam room and a bottle of poopers in the shower. Thank goodness that the massage was great. So I would say overpriced for the facility quality.

The website does not do this place justice. This was my first time there and I had a 5 star experience. Consulted with Sean (whom I highly recommend) and he understood melanated skincare which even in a city like Chicago is not always the standard. I did the 60 min facial and he walked me through everything he was doing and gave me recommendations on products especially for my skin. I have already told my friends about my experience there. I don’t know if Sean is the standard or exceptional but they have my repeat business for the foreseeable future.

I scheduled this appointment to alleviate the tension in my neck and shoulders. Chris demonstrated exceptional skills in addressing the pain points. His approach was almost as if he was communicating with my body in a silent manner. He identified the precise areas to focus on during the massage and adjusted the pressure with remarkable precision. I am deeply grateful for his expertise.

I purchased the couples massage and facial package. Really impressed with both massages and both facials. The service was great and the amenities were clean. Was disappointed that the locker room didn’t include facial moisturizer and facial sunscreen (only reason I feel the package is overpriced). They scheduled us for facials first then massage which was odd but would have been ok had there been face moisturizer and facial sunscreen in the locker room. Albie was great.

A last minute massage was exactly what I needed to ease the pain of my aching back.Having gone through 2 back surgeries to repair ruptured disc's, in the past year, I needed a firm yet gentle massage to ease the pain. Jose came through w/flying colors and I will definitely request him in the future. Thank you!

My partner booked a "Couple’s Escape" 60 min massage here as a birthday gift for the both of us. Sadly, the experience was extremely disappointing. I hate to bring this up because my partner tried to do something nice for us, but given the experience (and cost when there are other options around) I have to write this. Short version Pros: -Nice layout -Convenient location -Sparkling wine after Cons: -Customer service —No explanation/direction of how the place works —60 min massage cut 15min short (due to direction not being provided where to wait) —No attempt to address concerns —Not a traditional "couples massage", just two massages at the same time in different rooms -Massage —Uneven and missed multiple muscle groups (Shoulders, Chest, lower back and one glute) —Very light (asked for more pressure 20+ times) —Way too much oil -Facility/Amenities —Mold around faucet fixtures —Flies on shower ceiling —No robes —Empty mouthwash containers —No face moisturizer Full version: I had never been here before and the staff guided us to the changing room with no explanation of the process and apologizing for no robes and there likely wouldn’t be any for the rest of the day due to a washing machine issue (Which we were understanding of). The amenities seemed nice. Was disappointing to see that both of the mouthwash dispensers were empty and there was no face moisturizer, but I can move past this. We quickly washed up and sat on the bench for over 22 minutes until someone came looking for us. We were put into separate rooms, which is unusual for a "couples escape" massage but sure it’s not a huge issue, we can deal with that too. My masseur (Jesus) was friendly. I confirmed with him medium-hard pressure. Sadly, I had to ask him over twenty times (I counted) to go harder because it just felt like he was just adding more and more oil and moving my skin around. Additionally, he did not evenly massage both sides and missed multiple muscle groups (one of my glutes, shoulders, lower back and chest). I eventually grew a bit frustrated and let it go. When he said it was done, I realized the massage was just under 45 minutes when we were booked for 60. Afterwards, I had to lather up multiple times due to the excessive amount of oil used. I also noticed mold growing around the shower faucets and a ton of small dead flies stuck to the shower ceiling. Of course, as we’re leaving the mouthwash is being refilled and there are plenty of fresh robes. At the checkout counter, I learned the cost my partner had paid and had to speak up about the experience. Especially, since 60 minutes massages were paid for and we got 45 min ones (and the issues with massage). The three employees at the front desk said it was because we were not seated in the correct waiting area resulting in the delay of the massage. I advised, this was not mentioned and there was no rundown of how this place works. The check-in guy apologized because he is new and assumed my partner would tell me how the place works (which had changed from the last time my partner was there) and this never asked me. They did not make any attempt to address concerns aside from a shrugged apology and continued to ask for a tip. It’s a huge letdown because we were excited to support a local business, which did not seem to genuinely care about any of the issues we mentioned.
