I was visiting Durham for a couple of weeks and this place has been without a doubt something that shines quite bright within Durham. Their team is amazing and very kind, the installations are super clean, very cozy. They’ve recently added some warming red light therapy pads to be used while you’re in halo therapy sessions, it’s wonderful. Definitely a place you can disconnect to connect, leave all the noise behind and be present with yourself and anyone else who’s joining you during your session!

I had a wonderful day at the Durham Salt Cave. The location is thoughtfully designed and smells amazing. They staff is so nice and saw that we were completely comfortable. I went with a friend and we both raved about our massage therapists. After that we had some mint tea, and then were shown into the salt room. It was so relaxing- like being at the beach! The whole experience was blissful. Thanks to the staff for such a fantastic day.

Durham Salt & Sound experience was the perfect way to end a mother-daughter weekend. We all left feeling blissed out and breathing deeper.

Very relaxing experience! Plan to arrive a few minutes early to get oriented. Staff is welcoming, patient and accommodating. Our room was beautiful and comfortably appointed with fully adjustable, gently vibrating chairs equipped with headphones and volume control for lyric-free music. Light blankets, weighted blankets and light-blocking eye covers are available. The fine salt blowing in the air was subtle and not irritating at all. Our 45-minute session passed very quickly. We both nearly fell asleep. Our visit ended with complimentary cups of chamomile tea, Godiva chocolates, and a personalized card from Kelsey and the salt cave staff! Note: The parking lot here is small, but there's a parking deck directly across the street. We were told that parking validation is coming but they didn't have it quite yet.

I had the opportunity to share the salt cave experience with my co-workers and it was the relaxation we didn't know we needed! Definitely a must try if you are thinking about going.

We loved our time at the Salt Cave! It is a hidden treasure in the Bull City; from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, it was tranquil and relaxing. Kelsey, our host, was calm and inviting, and she took care of us at every step. We learned about salt's many benefits and felt we could breathe more deeply after our session. It was a gift to simply lose track of time while taking care of our minds and bodies. The facility was immaculately clean, and we know about cleaning. We highly recommend this experience, and we will return.

Such a beautiful and relaxing spot. Had an absolutely amazing massage with Angelo. He took the time to listen to my problem areas and managed to combine muscle tension release with a supremely relaxing experience. For sure will be back.
