Aloft by Marriott Fort Worth Downtown

📍 Gay-friendly spas in Fort Worth

7.7

Aloft by Marriott Fort Worth Downtown stands out for its prime location, offering easy access to downtown attractions and a lively urban atmosphere. The hotel combines modern design with practical amenities, such as a well-regarded bar and grill, ensuring guests enjoy both convenience and social engagement during their stay.

While the service quality is consistently praised—highlighted by attentive staff and thoughtful problem-solving—the accommodations may not suit all preferences, particularly for those seeking quiet or spacious rooms. The breakfast options, including the standout avocado dish, add a welcoming touch, though some guests note inconsistencies in room maintenance and noise levels.

Due to the price of most downtown Ft Worth hotels, we booked the Aloft. My first time at one and it will be my last. First the good news- the entire staff was great and friendly. Now the rest. This is a hotel for kids not adults. No closet, 6 pegs to hang clothes. Chairs so low that you have to get help to stand up. A plastic office chair. |Small bathroom with little counter space. Finally the air conditioning was odd. Can't really adjust the air flow or its direction that kept adjusting itself. Spend the extra money, we will next time.

Positive: Location Negative: Cleanliness was not there. Sheets and bedding was dirty. Furniture was sticky. There was an open half drank water bottle where the complimentary were. Staff was rude over the phone. The ‘suite’ wasn’t as advertised on app.

Valet line can fill up fast and the elevator takes a bit, but the service is excellent from valet to front desk to the bar/grill. Great communicators and willing to work with you to make your stay comfortable. Lauren at the bar is quick, efficient and fantastic. Lauren has the personality that makes you feel as if you’re seeing a past time best friend. Overall a good stay. 4.5 stars

We had a short stay for one night at the hotel arriving on Sunday, Nov. 16th, and checking out the 17th. The reason for our stay was for a scheduled interview process for my daughter to be considered for the Royal Academy of Veterinary Medicine that was scheduled on the 17th at the Palm Conference Center. Everyone from the Valet Parking to the reception area, to the bar area, and cleaning staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was exceptional! So much so, I just wish my stay would have been longer because everyone made us feel so welcome. Few hotels in the industry do that for their customers, yet the Aloft in downtown Fort Worth was nothing short of wonderful. I also wanted to commend Roxanne at your front desk. My daughter, who was a bit nervous prior to her interview appointment, left behind her eyeglasses and a pair of contact lenses in the vanity of our room (#902). I called the hotel immediately and Roxanne who answered my call, helped locate the items with the housekeeping staff. She had them shipped out immediately and were received today in perfect condition today at my home in San Antonio. This speaks volumes of the great customer care and honesty of their amazing housekeeping staff. If you're planning to be in Fort Worth soon, I highly recommend the Aloft Fort Worth in downtown.

Nice rooms but don’t expect to get any sleep if you’re a light sleeper. I stayed here for a business trip, and was woken up multiple times on both nights by cars roaring down the road, revving their engines, cranking their music, guests talking in the halls, and opening and closing doors. I had also requested a replacement steamer because the one in the room didn’t turn on, but the replacement was broken as well. Food is not true room service but take-out meals in plastic.

Great location DFW. The king room is big enough for 2 people. You will have to request more towels if you are here for more than two nights. You get one set per person. We were here for five days and four nights. Housekeeping came in on the third day per my request. The bed was not made. Trash was taken out and two clean towels were left. The dirty towels were also left. I called front desk to inquire about the bed not being made, he stated if I needed the bed made he can send housekeeping back. I declined due to me being back in the room and needed some sleep. Despite that, everything else was great. The avocado breakfast is absolutely delicious. Would it stay here again, absolutely.

My wife and her sister took the grandkids for a weekend in Fort Worth. We are Bonvoy members and have a Marriott timeshare. Marriott puts themselves forward as being a premium hotel chain-this was not the case! The wife and her sister said they have never been treated so bad and made to feel totally unwelcome and would never stay there again! The bar advertised food until midnight and at 10:30 pm they were refused service because as the manager put it "they were short staffed and had been there since 8am!" When my wife pointed the signage that said they would be able to get service until midnight she was told not tonight. The next morning when she got her car from the valet parking attendant; she was left to load two 4 year olds and luggage by herself and was so wet that they all had to get dry cloths to change into at the Children's Museum. And they were charged $50 to park a car overnight! As if the $325/night room charge wasn't enough to cover parking! The wife and I have stayed at other Aloft properties and they were not this way! You can be sure I will be reaching out to Marriott and I will say that this and other Marriott "policies" are why I have been staying more and more with the Hilton brand!
