I’ve been to a lot of massage spots around the area and this is by far the best massage I’ve ever had. Jenn is amazing at what she does and really took the time to listen to what I was looking for and checked-in throughout. I’ll definitely be going back!

Jen gives an amazing massage! She is so skilled that sometimes you swear that she has more than two arms working you at once. She listens, and will work to ease any discomfort you may be experiencing. Every time I have a massage with her I find myself wishing I could do it every single week. Her workspace is charming and comfortable in the heart of downtown Frederick, but with easy parking out back. She also has offerings like Akashic Record readings and reiki if you want to dip into a more spiritual experience - she is skilled and highly intuitive in this area as well!

I’ve been to many massage therapists over the years and no one understands how to corner tension and make it go away quite like Jen at Alter Space. The space is calming, Jen is understanding and friendly and her skills are second to none. Best massage therapist in the area, in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and book Jen regularly, like I do.

She listens well, is intuitive about what my body, mind, and spirit needs, and has a generous and generative healing style. Worth every penny every time. Jennifer gave me my first massage 13ish years ago and it was life changing. I've had other massages around the country and Jennifer is hands down the best there is. I’ve known Jen for years now and lost touch when covid closed everything down. Thankfully we’ve connected again and picked up right where we left off. Jen is wonderful and attentive to your needs. It began with prenatal massages which are fantastic to now massaging out all my kinks and stress away. Jen makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Coming into downtown Frederick and parking can be a bit of a hassle, but no need to worry - Jen’s got that taken care of with her reserved parking space. I cannot recommend her enough to friends and family. The only regret you’ll ask yourself is why you didn’t you book a massage earlier!
