Customer Reviews
Gainesville Spa Center by Voupre has a rating of 3.2 out of 5 based on over 32 reviews on Google
I was at the mall yesterday with a friend. The dark haired woman dressed in black that was handing samples was incredibly rude. We politely rejected the samples but did ask where a store (discount goods) was located. The lady replied that only pathetic poor lazy people shop there and of course she would not know. She said with such rude arrogance and beratement and smiling that it was stunning. The company owner for this store should be ashamed to have such rude workers in contact with the potential customers. In reading the other reviews this is a common complaint of the business. Unless such a store was a front for some nefarious operation, such a store would never succeed. Notice that the store has reviews that are all either 1 or 2 ratings and then only 5 star ratings. Its obvious the 5 star ratings are false, paid for ratings. Oaks Mall should consider not renewing their lease.
The lady outside giving out samples was extremely rude and was heavily pressuring us to buy products. She came up to us and ushered us into the shop and didn’t even ask to put the products on my skin but slapped some on anyway. She also told me my skin was really oily and that it looks like I don’t take care of my skin. Even if this is true, I didn’t ask and was just really uncomfortable the whole time. They just wanna prey on your vulnerabilities and emotions to pressure you to buy their $600 skincare that doesn’t do anything.
I travel a lot with my business and sometimes looking for a good facial spot to get some relaxation as well. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the facial I got from Debbie (I think that was her name) and Val who set with me after the fax and showed me what products I can use to maintain my skincare routine at home. 10/10 guys, well done!
I did not use the services of Gainesville Spa however, they are in cahoots with "+voupre" which is a kiosk set up in the oaks mall. You can find their products on Amazon for a fraction of the price and they will tell you one price and charge your card a different price. They will also ask you to pay via debit so your not able to dispute or cancel the transaction. Once you purchase a products they try and schedule you an appointment with Gainesville Spa. What a racket, shame on you Oaks Mall for allowing this!
Whatever lady was standing outside of the store handing out samples on Sunday 9/14 around 4:30-5 was incredibly rude and hostile. When samples were refused she started insulting and berating my party. We were in a hurry, I am 8 months pregnant and was walking with my toddler. The last thing we should have to deal with when walking through the mall is being harassed by your workers.
They will try to make money by blatantly shaming you. Walked by and some guy tries to cajole me to try a free scrub. I kept insisting that I don’t plan on buying anything but won’t mind trying out the product and will get his business card as I was open and honest that I already bought $400 worth of skin care. The girl who was sitting there basically comes up and, noticing that I wasn’t going to buy anything, asks me to come over to her and starts personally attacking my skin. I explained to her that it’s the acne from not recently cleaning my pillow case and she made up some bs that it’s some "congestion" instead when I know my skin very well … tyvm. My skin tends to be oily and when I’m stressed (which I was) and going through hormonal changes, I was basically told I need to do something about it which I told her "no I’m good. Thank you." Scum.
My first time to a spa since one year. I was in search of a spa/skin specialist that I can make it my own place to go for skin cleaning and maintenance. The experience has been absolutely overwhelming. I found my place to be, that I'm completely comfortable not just with the service and result but the staff. I found my where I can absolutely feel relaxed and let go while taking care of me.
