Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

This spa is very welcoming with the women working at the front desk always being kind and friendly. The massages and facials are always an ahh-mazing and relaxing experience. It's hard to find a massage spa around Grand Rapids to be both clean and safe. I've been to almost all of the independently owned massage studios around this area and I don't share the same sentiment with them. They leave a lot to be desired when it comes to cleanliness and the comfort of being on a massage table. I think everyone here goes above and beyond to make sure I enjoy the experience, each and every time.

It was okay, $119 for a 50 minute massage is just robbery, i hadn't been to a hand and stone massage place in like 2 years in a whole nother state so you would think the introductory rate would apply again. Especially since I booked online an it showed the introductory rate. I told the front desk that its fine I'll pay the $119. The customer service was good at the front and the therapist was nice. You can tell the therapist was pressed for time for the 50 minutes thats provided. And thats why my focus areas was focused on a minimum amount of time. I also tried to call 30 minutes before my appointment started to try to cancel because it was that time of the month for me but no one answered. Yet when i got there I watched both of the front desk ladies answer the phone promptly when it rang. Its just kind of a rip off and scam-mish for what you get vs the price. I know these are corporate rules but its still just sad. Its my fault though i should've went to an Asian spa close by for their Eastern techniques. They do the whole 60 minutes with a timer so you can get the full experience!!!... I travel a lot so Hand and Stone Massage will never get my business again in any state.

I had the most incredible experience with Hand and Stone in Grand Rapids. The customer service was impecable, which is rare to find in this day in age. I was greeted with kindness and every question was answered with much patience and knowledge. The service itself was awesome and made me feel like a new person. I had a wonderful massage here! My massage therapist’s name was Laurel and she was phenomenal. She was very friendly and professional. She adjusted the pressure to suit my needs, and addressed everything I asked for. She was very quiet unless I spoke to her first which was very nice. Over all, an extremely relaxing massage!

I always look forward to my time at the Grand Rapids location! The ladies up at the front desk are so kind and helpful - they always make sure to ask if I need water, the restroom, or even a warm neck wrap before I head in. Kayla is such an AMAZING massage therapist! The mini gliding cupping upgrade was a 10/10, and she was very attentive to what I needed to focus on that day. Arianna was a FANTASTIC esthetician! Everything about the service was so relaxing, especially the shoulder massage that she did. I will definitely be coming back for more facials AND massages.

Came in for my first facial EVER and it was such an amazing experience ! I am honestly so neurotic about my skin because I’ve never really used any more intensive or heavily chemical based skincare so I was a bit nervous going in. My provider, Diana, was amazing !! She was super sensitive to all of my concerns regarding skincare and super helpful in recommending products for a natural and low maintenance at home regimen. She helped me finally figure out my skin type and addressed what I needed to incorporate / look for in my skincare. Amazing experience and will definitely be back when I’m in town. Thank you so much to all the staff, such a sweet n lovely atmosphere !!

Cannot say enough about how awesome this place is. I've suffered with scoliosis and debilitating nerve pain for almost 3 decades and have to combine multiple modalities to manage it; Massage being one of them. I've only seen few Massage businesses that can retain talent, and this is one. The front desk staff is amazing and every single masseuse who has worked on me has something awesome and unique about their technique. Not to mention friendly and fun!Joseph, Jules, Tiana and Kayla. As I get older, good energy is everything and this is a spot where you will get exactly that. Thank you.
