Customer Reviews
The Diplomat Club has a rating of 3.9 out of 5 based on over 50 reviews on Google
I love it there. I’m home from South Florida and we have a lot of options not so many in Grand Rapids but thank God for the diplomat. I think it’s a lot of fun. I look forward to going there
The Diplomat is an institution. If you don’t understand what it is, what it means for others, and how it works, then it’s probably not for you. Some of these reviews are very interesting. I come from a place where places like this just don’t exist, so I thank my lucky stars that we have the Diplomat. Also I’m a little offended by people saying that it’s not clean— the building is ancient and the staff is very diligent about keeping it tidy. I love it here and it’s a great place to go to warm up in the wintertime with the sauna in the back. It’s definitely 💯 centered around gay men, but it’s safe for everyone and there’s posters everywhere saying so. I think the staff is also very good about safety too. There’s also a toy shop and gear case for fun stuff. Can’t go wrong.
Dirty, dingy, and run down. There was rust and holes in the walls all over the place. The water in the hot tub was cloudy. The dry sauna was closed for the summer. Many of the floors were carpet, and most of the furniture was fabric -- i.e. definitely not possible to properly clean or sanitize. Visited on a supposed "College night", and the place was completely empty (clearly for good reason). Will not be returning.
As a male/female couple we'd love to see more female presence. We're going to go as much as possible for the next few months. Far too many guys were surprised that women are allowed but said they happily welcome fun open minded females. I'd like to edit this, my beautiful Angel absolutely loved it here. She would be thrilled to see the all gender parties return. She left this world in Feb. I'm happy she was able to experience this place. Thank you so much to the owners. I just visited again this weekend Fri and Sat nights. 😈
As much as I would like to give this a good review, because this is a type of establishment we really need here in West Michigan! But,, I’m sorry to report this. I’ve lived in this town since 1985 and I’ve gone to this establishment six times throughout that time. This place rarely ever changes. It looks pretty much the same as it did when it first opened which is a sad state. The hardly work they dribble out, the two only available toilets leak and smell, the floors are very uneven, the wet area is awful. although I have seen some improvements through the past 10 years, not many, the owners seem like they just don’t care about the establishment. Now let’s talk about the pricing of it, it’s terribly expensive compared to most houses I’ve been to across the country/world. especially for what they offer and what you get in return. I’ve been to it two times in this past year and the most men that were attending was eight the last time I was there three lol if you’re going there to have some playtime. Good luck. I would recommend this company works with a good business consultant and somebody that knows how to run a good club establishment Again, I regret to give you a poor review, giving you 2 Stars Was Way more than what I honestly think it deserves .
I had a lot of fun! I suggest going on nights where they have big events if you want to see a lot of people there! I’m also happy to say All genders are welcome! As a trans man I was a bit nervous but everyone was kind and respectful❤️
Nice place meet people like sauna good place relax..
