I got a massage here on my last day in Hawaii. Everyone was friendly and helpful (especially given that I booked the same day). My massage therapist was great and was attentive and adjusted the pressure as I needed. I got an outdoor massage which was delightful and very relaxing. The steam room and jacuzzi in the locker area was a really nice plus, and I spent about 40 minutes there after my massage. Prices are certainly high, but fairly standard for beach resort setting and I would definitely return the next time I want to splurge.

Mixed Review: The good - The therapist and treatment definitely delivered as expected. The treatment area is beautiful and serene. The bad - Everything else is lacking. The spa itself feels cramped, and does not create a relaxing vibe. There is no real social area, especially if travelling with a partner or in a group. The change rooms are small, the stream room is tiny and the shower stalls need an overhaul. The is no Jacuzzi (for men), pool, or relaxation area after treatment...you are left with a feeling of dissatisfaction.

Not worth it at all for the price. Environment is gorgeous but the service was terrible. I asked my masseuse to be more firm twice and she still didn’t. After, I told the staff at the front desk about my unsatisfactory experience and they basically ignored me and told me I could fill out a feedback card. All the facilities (steam room/jacuzzi) were also closed by the time our massage was done, so that also was 👎. This was our biggest splurge $ wise of our anniversary vacation and it’s was seriously such a disappointment. You could get 5 quality massages for the price of this bad one. Don’t do it!!!

We arrived at the spa and were asked to fill out the usual paperwork. Right after that, the front desk lady handed us a bill to sign — with no explanation. My wife noticed that the total didn’t match the amount we were quoted when making the reservation. When she asked about it, the staff member said, "For your convenience, we added the tip." She still didn’t provide a clear breakdown of the charges. My wife politely mentioned that it would make more sense to decide the tip after the service. While she was signing the paper, another lady at the front desk rolled her eyes very obviously. When I asked her if there was a reason for that, she replied, "I have the right to roll my eyes if I want." At that point, we decided to cancel our massage and leave. Very disappointing experience and completely unprofessional front desk behavior.

I had a great 80 minute massage outdoors. It was pleasant to hear the birds as I got my massage. My massage therapist started with a salt scrub on the feet which I really enjoyed. The setting was pleasant they have a jacuzzi in the women's area, as well as a seated area and showers with amenities such as water, razors and lotions. I was told there was a steam room, but it was too warm of a day for me to use it. The spa area is not huge but it got the job done. The staff were friendly and try to make sure you have a good experience. Wish I was rich I'd go everyday of my trip!

I came to Abhasa spa on my last day in Hawaii and I am glad I did. It was a perfect way to end this magical trip. This is a beautiful and tranquil place. Just a perfect place to relax!

If you are staying at the Hilton or the Royal Hawaiian, I would highly recommend a service at the abhassa spa. Getting a treatment in one of their outdoor rooms is pure bliss! I received a facial which also included a massage on the shoulders, arms, and feet. Definitely worth it.
