Urban Day Spa

My experience was incredible; it’s certainly a place I will return to. It exceeded all my expectations. I wish I could recall the names of the two ladies who provided my friend and me with such a wonderful experience. I would absolutely rate this spa service a 10 out of 10.

OVERALL: I was gifted a spa day here. Staff was willing to adjust my package to fit my needs since I didn't book the services. Building and bathroom was clean, SAFE, and relaxing. Claudia completed my massage and facial, and she listened to and respected my massage preferences and modesty choices. I would return here again. MASSAGE: The massage was relaxing and was a good mix of light and heavy pressure, which she adapted as necessary. I was very pleased with her job and and her professionalism. At no point was I concerned or uncomfortable, which was my main priority. I would return for her massages again. FACIAL: The facial was good, but I didn't prefer the paraffin wax. I did enjoy the cold stone option and she was careful not mess up my eyelash extensions too much. It was a standard facial and was more for relaxing than being a treatment. I would not get another facial, but that is more my preference than the quality of the service.

Berta is hands down the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. I request her every time because she’s intuitive, professional, and truly cares about her clients’ comfort and needs. Every session leaves me feeling better both physically and mentally. She’s a gem!

Berta is the best at deep tissue massages. She’ll definitely have you wanting to tap out a couple times. She is not for the weak. I live about 30 minutes away from urban Day spa but I drive here simply for Berta and her deep tissue massages, otherwise I go to a massage therapist by my house. One thing I can say about urban day spa is that their staff stays pretty consistent. I’ve been coming here for years, and for the most part of the staff is exactly the same as when I first started coming in. If I could change anything, I wish they would change the paint to more of a warm color in the entryway When I first started coming here, it was a very warm color, now it is very grey, cold, institutional feel. I feel the entryway sets the tone for the whole visit so if I had a wish list item that would be it.

Berta gives a wonderful massage. The place is clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable environment. Staff is friendly and helpful. The downside is the occasional noise from the business next door.

For our 25th Wedding Anniversary, my Husband and I will celebrate with a Vow Renewal Ceremony & Reception. So, on "Vow Renewal Eve," my Husband treated me to a Spa Day complete with the Royale Package and Foot Spa Therapy. My Esthetician, Elizabeth (at the Copperfield location), was PHENOMENAL. Her expert service was kind, courteous, polite, and with the precise right amount of pressure. The Black Friday pricing for the services made the experience even sweeter. I will definitely be back!!

My massage therapist was wonderful! Juane really made me feel very relaxed. My main reason for the 4 stars is I could hear the business next door during my massage and a child screaming.
