Massage Envy

Booked an appointment for my wife for her birthday and asked the lady if I could cancel if she did not want the service. Was told typically they require 24 hr. Advance notice but since I was booking the appointment the day before around time, I could call first thing in the morning if I needed to cancel. Called the next day as soon as they opened and was told there is no record of such a conversation and that I would be charged the fee. Ended up keeping the appointment and was told by my wife that the massage was one of the worst she had. As lots of others have said this place is mediocre at best and I would also recommend to take your business elsewhere

I drive to other Massage Envy’s that are further away because of the inconsistent value I get at this location. This is the Massage Envy I originally joined as I live in Las Colinas. However, I’m frequently disappointed by either the customer service or the therapists. It’s worth driving to another location. I wish this location could improve and I do occasionally come back to see. If it does get better, I will edit my review.

Just had the best massage by Mia. She said laced the pillows perfectly delivered the light pressure I asked for and paid attention to all the details. She made this experience feel like the holistic medicine and enjoyable spa experience I desired. I will be booking her as soon as I can find another opening! Was 5 star review then edited after I checked out- It was odd and disappointing to find out that they then needed to charge me a $10 extra charge for "market adjustments" because their membership at this location is $75/mo and not the $65/mo I’ve been paying for 12 years in another part of Texas and I was not informed of this prior to booking or when I arrived. I’ve traveled all over the US using my Massage Envy Membership in many various places and this is the first I’ve heard of this BS. My membership also says that the service (1 hour monthly massage) that I pay $65 for, as an advantage of membership, is valued as a $90 service. So why the extra charge?

Good massage for a good price. Friendly greet at the door. Comfortable quiet waiting room. Isabel did a great job. I will ask for her when I return.

Very frustrating. Prior to booking appointment, I verified the introductory rate of $83 since I was new to the location. Following session, the manager (Kristin) insisted I pay the higher rate of $143 since I had been to a Massage Envy in Austin 9 months earlier. She insisted I purchase an annual membership to get the rate I was offered when I booked. She blamed everything on "corporate" and refused to honor rate. I will NEVER return to a Massage Envy based on this encounter and Kristin’s poor customer service.

Okay for other treatments. Definitely not for the massage. I booked sessions for me and my husband last year, that was our last time. We could barely feel any effort from the therapist. I guess "disappointment" does not entirely summarize our experience.

I have been multiple times, the atmosphere is lovely and the staff is nice. Mia is my favorite masseuse, she has 15 years experience and I felt I could tell by the care she put into my placement, reviewing & explaining my consented areas and customer service. She makes sure you're comfortable and adjusts quickly when told too firm/soft. Pricing makes it difficult to come in regularly and membership is a year contract with scary reviews so I cant commit.
