Clean. Many different rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Anne gave me the best massage and scrub I’ve had in my life. Coming from someone who’s even had many professional therapeutic massages in my life. She’s great. Highly recommended, but I would definitely go back to her.
I’ve been a long-time customer at this place, but after my most recent visit, I decided not to return. During my massage, I was casually talking with my massage therapist and was told not to talk, which made the experience uncomfortable. As a paying customer, I didn’t understand why this was an issue. I also felt uncomfortable with the behavior of someone who appeared to be a supervisor (I believe her name was Anna). She seemed displeased because I chose a different therapist than before and made the environment tense. Ironically, she was the loudest person in the room herself, even asking another therapist—while she was working—how much tip she received. Hearing that as a customer was very uncomfortable and felt inappropriate. I felt bad for the therapist who worked on me, as she seemed uneasy despite doing an excellent job. I’ve tried massages from many therapists here, and she was genuinely one of the best. Unfortunately, due to the unprofessional atmosphere, I won’t be returning.
I’m a huge fan of Korean spas (jimjilbang 찜질방). While it might not be the as flashy as other options in ktown, this is not to be missed. It’s located inside a mall and is on the third floor. I know these places can feel intimidating if you’ve never been before, but don’t let it stop you! The women at the front will walk you through and tell you everything you need to know to enjoy the facility. And honestly if you end up confused, pretty much anyone there will help you out too, very communal feeling. This place has all the basic amenities needed and the price is right. I got the Gold Special, a two hour service that includes a body scrub, hair treatment, and a lovely massage. Make sure to bring cash to tip your person. The whole spa facility was clean and wasn’t overly crowded like some other places are which was so nice as I went on a Saturday. The food in the cafe was incredible, and I really recommend you try the Korean rice drink as it’s perfectly sweet and cold. Lastly, make sure to park in the parking structure that is outlined in blue as you’ll get 6 hours included parking on P2. Don’t make the mistake I did and park in the structure next door, they’re expensive.
I love this spot - great value for fantastic services in a very clean facility. Highly recommend especially if it’s your first jimjilbang experience. Great scrub 🧽
TERRIBLE experience. Nancy at the front desk confirmed two appointments. We drove 30 minutes only to arrive and be told they couldn’t do our massages and messed up. Unwilling to work with us on any sort of discount and completely unhelpful.
Really enjoyed working out and relaxing here. I don't have a real basis for comparison as this was my first k-town spa, but I went on a Sunday and found it clean, not very busy (had several of the pools and rooms to myself at times), and very calming and peaceful. In the sex segregated sections they had hot pool, cold pool, wet and dry saunas, and showers. In the communal areas they had cafe, lounge space, and charcoal, clay, and salt hot rooms, as well as a cool room. Aveda toiletries were a nice touch, as were free razors and toothbrushes. Also enjoyed that they had a basic but functional gym that you could use as well. Plus, the food in the café was very tasty. Staff explained protocol well to this newbie. All in all a really good experience and a very relaxing place to be.
I have gone twice to this spa, once on a busy Saturday and the other on a quiet Thursday. Each time I loved it. The staff is friendly, massages were great, and the facilities were clean and up to date.
