I wanted to love this massage (and based on the reviews, thought I would), but I have been in so much pain since coming here two days ago. The massage was way, way too much pressure and when I asked for less pressure I was told "no pain no gain" as the therapist chuckled lightly. I tried to push through the discomfort but it was a huge mistake and in hindsight I should have walked out. Another big issue I had is that I specifically told the front desk person and the massage therapist I needed most attention on the right side of my neck. Yet over the course of a ninety minute massage, my neck was only dealt with for the final ten minutes, so besides my back and knee now hurting really badly for the past two days, my neck pain has seen no improvement at all. Really, really disappointed and will not be returning.

Easily the best massage spot in the neighborhood. I’ve tried each one in walking distance and it is the most consistent and has the warmest customer service by far. It’s always a treat to call to make an appointment and have Alice answer and respond to me by my name because she remembers me.

Went here for the first time today and had an amazing experience! The receptionist was so friendly and my massage from Jaida (not sure on the spelling) was fantastic!! She even massaged my jaw, eyebrows and tummy. I feel so rejuvenated and refreshed and can’t wait to come back again soon!! Plus, my sciatica pain is gone now. What a relief! Thank you so much, Hillhurst Thai Spa 🙏💕

Left with a whole new body! She was great and really focused on all my problem areas. I’ve been to 4 different Thai spas around here and this one is the best in terms of space, massages and professionalism. Thank you!

I was referred by a friend, and it did not disappoint. You can’t beat the price! It’s a no-frills place—you’re not there for aesthetics, but for a strong, effective Thai massage. I plan to make this a monthly habit!

Very kind receptionist, but the massage was not great. I asked for traditional Thai massage and needed the combined stretching and deep tissue massage typical of traditional Thai massage. There wasn’t much stretching, mostly kneeling on my hamstrings, and the therapist wasn’t very responsive to my requests for more or less pressure, which I needed because I had a back injury. I left in more pain than I came in with (not the good, muscle relieving kind). Also, I was charged a higher price than what was quoted over the phone and before I went in. Their combo massage might be good, but I do not recommend my therapist for Thai massage.
