I’m a hairstylist, and Ciel still managed to teach me so much about caring for my curls! She trimmed and styled my hair, and my curls have never felt softer or held their shape this well. I am blown away! She genuinely knows her craft and is such a sweet, calming presence. Highly recommend!!!!

My stylist, Ciel, was awesome. She was really helpful in figuring out what type of cut and color I wanted. I was really impressed by her questions and attention to detail. She was also very friendly and easy to talk to. I'm happy with my hair and I will definitely be coming back!

Frieda was amazing. She asked amazing questions about my lifestyle and what I was looking for with my cut. She listed to my needs and offered amazing feedback about certain areas of my hairs. She offered some great products for me to use as well. Great conversation, fast and efficient without feeling rushed. I wound give 12 out of 10 if I could.

Disappointed by the customer service: I was taken aback by how my recent interaction with this salon was handled. When I called to reschedule due to a legitimate family emergency, the receptionist immediately jumped to 'We have to charge you even if you reschedule before acknowledging the situation, let along showing empathy. ​While I understand the need for a 24-hour policy, there is a way to communicate rules while still treating long-time customers like people. The lack of soft skills at the front desk left a bad taste in my mouth. A salon experience is about hospitality from start to finish, and unfortunately, the booking team missed the mark here.

I had a great time at Anaala! I get my hair cut very rarely and usually at home or in Asia, because I don’t trust salons with my thick and coarse Asian hair, which I have a lot of, but Ciel was very knowledgeable and listened to my concerns and wants 🙂 I wanted long layers and face-framing pieces so that my hair wouldn’t be this one heavy sheet, and it turned out great and still kept my length and thickness without it feeling too overwhelming! The atmosphere was also very relaxing. The one thing was that the parking situation was more complicated than I anticipated; I had to park in the nearby neighborhood (there doesn’t seem to be a parking lot).

i was super unsatisfied for a full color half foil $300. i came in with blue hair and asked to go brunette with streaks of blonde. long rant short i didn’t get what i asked for OR what me and the stylist agreed to during our same day consult what’s so ever. for one, there is still a lot of blue in my hair, and it doesn’t look flattering. another issue i have is the transition from my natural roots natural brown to a basically RED she put in my hair the still bleeds out in the shower and stains my clothes. it is patchy, the color palette is atrocious, and again it’s not at all what we discussed or what i asked for. I would take a re-do if i could. UPDATE.: Still have not received a refund… SUPERRRR disappointed…

Freida is fantastic! Very knowledgeable and at a very reasonable price. I’ve never trusted a hair stylist like I trust her and she has never steered me wrong. Couldn’t recommend her enough!
