My husband and I were booking spa services together. Specifically booked a 50 massage with a female therapist. Got to my appointment and a male therapist greeted me. I kindly said I was booked with a female therapist. They made me walk to front desk and remedy the situation myself. They had no manager to talk to, apparently too busy. They ask me to wait in the spa waiting room where the manager never came. They called me to tell me my service was refunded. They did not even have the respect to personally take care of the situation. They are extremely unprofessional. I also feel they should have offered another service. I wasted my time and my day. The hotel and spa is suppose to be elevated and luxurious and they should have better service. I have been too many spas and thus one is very unprofessionally managed.

I decided to book a 50 minute relaxing massage here as I heard this is one of the best spas. The staff were very nice. The massage itself was good. My favorite part was when she massaged my hands, feet and scalp. But sometimes during the massage it felt like she was just rubbing oil on me. I did enjoyed the flavored water and snacks available for us to eat before and after the massage. My favorite was the banana chips and slices of oranges. The amenities are nice but it seemed like more upkeep is needed. I saw one of the handles of the bathroom door become loose, the shower head for one of the showers had a lot of buildup and the tiles are loose in the steam room. I do like how they remind the clients not to take pictures out of respect of others. But it also forces us to enjoy the moment. I enjoyed my time here and being able to use the spa and hotel's amenities after the massage but I was expecting better quality for the price paid and the fact that it’s located at the Fontainebleau.

I had a very disappointing experience at this spa. The amenities are outdated, and the service was poor from start to finish. The robes provided felt like they had already been worn by someone else, and I had to request slippers, which the staff then had to search for. My partner and I booked 80-minute massages, costing $800 in total. Given the price, we expected a high-level spa treatment but were sorely let down. Despite living in Miami and having access to many spas, I can confidently say I will never return to this place. The showers didn’t even have hot water, which is unacceptable. The tea station was also subpar. Overall, this spa offers low-level service and amenities. Save your money and time and go to a local massage place where you’ll receive better treatment for a fraction of the cost.

I went there cause I was told it was an award winning spa. I did a high tide option and paid 250.00 USD. When I got there the greeting was nice and was given a very quick run down of the place by a women with a heavy accent. She spoke way too fast and I could not understand her completely. Some of the rooms like the aromatherapy room was out of service. There were dirty used towels everywhere. No one was cleaning up the place. It felt dirty and gross. Would not return.

Had booked a 50 min massage and it was terrible. The female therapist didn’t even ask about what pressure I like or what area I want to focus on, she was very rude and the massage was terrible. She definitely wanted to rush it and be over as soon as possible. For the price I am paying I expect good customer service. Wouldn’t recommend to anybody!

Spacious massage rooms. Don’t like the fact I can’t select my therapist by previous experiences. Rain room needs water to be a little warmer. Lap pool with mineral water is excellent. No drinks allowed in spa 🤨 . Therapist was providing massage like if she was in a rush. I go mostly for the facility use because I’ve been there several times and the massages aren’t that great. Love the fruit infused water. Check in/out was easy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lapis Spa at the Fontainebleau – Miami My wife and I visited Lapis Spa to celebrate our anniversary, and the experience exceeded every expectation. Pamela is the epitome of professionalism and true mastery of her craft. From the moment the session began, it was clear that she possesses exceptional skill, intuition, and care for her clients. I received a 50‑minute Swedish massage, and I can honestly say it was the best massage I have ever had in my life. I left feeling completely renewed—mind, body, and soul. Pamela’s technique was flawless, thoughtful, and incredibly effective. Her attention to detail did not end with the massage; she ensured I was properly hydrated afterward and took the time to explain the importance of post‑treatment care. That level of attentiveness speaks volumes. Pamela is truly a diamond and a gem—someone the entire Lapis Spa team should be incredibly proud of. We are currently staying on the 19th floor with breathtaking ocean views, and this spa experience elevated our entire stay to another level. I will be returning again tomorrow before our departure, and my wife and I will absolutely be back after our next long work month. Thank you to the entire Lapis Spa staff for such a remarkable experience—and a very special thank you to Pamela for making our anniversary unforgettable. I will be recommending her to everyone I know. Get ready. Simply outstanding.
