5.0

The Paradise Spa in Milpitas offers a mixed experience for visitors. Many clients have praised the professionalism and skill of their massage therapists, highlighting a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. However, there have been reports of inconsistent service quality, including issues with appointment management and therapist assignments, which have led to dissatisfaction among some patrons.

Customer care appears to be a notable concern, with instances of staff being perceived as rude or dismissive. While the spa has the potential to provide a high-quality experience, addressing these service inconsistencies and ensuring a welcoming environment for all clients would likely enhance its reputation.

I received a massage voucher as a gift from a friend, and I was honestly so impressed with the experience. The massage therapist was excellent, professional, kind, and highly skilled. She made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived and took the time to ensure everything was just right. The massage itself was deeply relaxing, and it was clear she truly cared about delivering the best possible experience. I left feeling refreshed, calm, and completely satisfied. Highly recommend.

Booked an appointment in the morning. When I and my girlfriend went in for our appointment, the receptionist could not find our booking. They have a manual system where they write down the customer’s number leaving lots of room for error. After waiting 20 minutes they finally let us in. They had no couple room available, so my girlfriend and I went into separate rooms. They had a male and female therapist, so I requested for my girlfriend to get the female therapist and for me to get the male therapist. They messed up and gave us the wrong therapists. The male therapist made my girlfriend feel uncomfortable by touching her inappropriately and moving her hand close to his crotch. Will not go there again.

Received a call from the spa less 40 minutes before my scheduled appointment saying that there was nobody available to provide the massage. Initially I rebooked the massage for the following week but then decided that it wasn't worth going to another appointment if I couldn't trust them to keep it, so I just cancelled the appointment and decided to go elsewhere.

Had a really uncomfortable time here. I first made a reservation and had a groupon, and they didnt clarify that I couldnt choose my massage therpaist because it was a groupon. Thye call it "cheap" so low quality. Then when it was my time a male masseuse came in, and as a woman I was uncomfortable asked him to leave. I was not notified that there would be a male. The front desk insisted its normal to just take it but I said no. She didnt care she said its "normal" and just to force myself to do it because hes "professional". No thats not normal and I was uncomfortable so I left. I was met with rudeness and honestly looked down on for not being comfortable with it. She said I cant choose and I was hoping to reschedule which I did. But every time I talked to then every one of the staff was condescending and rude. Absolutely did not feel comfortable and safe with the attitude of everyone here so I just ended up contacting groupon to get a refund instead. Not caring and rude staff.

Was told to tip prior to service, how do I know how much to tip if I don’t know how good the service was? Paid for 30 min foot and 30 min body. My massage was only 50 minutes total. Would not return.

My girlfriend got a 90 minute massage and she had a terrible experience, these are the key points in her experience: - her masseuse repeatedly talked about how thin she was and then seemed to focus most of the pressure on her bones instead of the surrounding muscle and tissue - she now has neck pain and tailbone pain that she didn't have before going to the massage, her masseuse did not adjust pressure accordingly the sensitivity of the area - she felt pressured to tip more even though she wasn't happy with the service - she doesn't feel better or more relaxed after the whole experience - the day after, it hurts to move and she says it feels like a bad chiropractic adjustment We've been to multiple spas around the Bay and internationally and this was one of the worst experiences she had. It just didn't feel like the masseuse cared about her comfort and used too much force. I've gotten intense deep tissue massages before where it hurts but feels better later but this wasn't supposed to be that kind of massage either. She did not ask for a deep tissue sports massage.

I came today for my appointment, but was informed they overbooked and I should come another day. 2+ hours of my time were wasted, but no compensation was offered. Also, my groupon expires tomorrow, so I guess I won't be able to use it.
